Yeah. Check FA 2007 for Buffalo. I'd say the paid a boatload of $$ to upgrade the OL. Buffalo couldn't go another year without replacing losses at CB.

Taylor is an awesome player, and might be for the next 1 - 2 years. He would help the Bills. But not for a friggin 1st round pick! That's just silly. Maybe a 4th. A 1st round pick isn't worth only 2 - 3 years of production.

People should read the entire article. I'm going to bookmark it and read it / post it next year before the draft. Lots of people around here gave me sh-- about this opinion the past few months and said I was adding to the noise around here for posting it. That said, Easterbrook may be better at expressing his thoughts in writing than I am. I think he gets paid to do it or something. His point? That even the professionals get the draft wrong. Therefore, fans shouldn't get all pissed because what they think they know doesn't happen on draft day. Fans don't know crap about evaluating players. So they should shut up and not pretend they do.

EULA - End User License Agreement. You see it on software. Means that no matter how bad the software is, or how bad it messes up your computer, or how much money it costs you or your business in doing so, only the end user is at fault. Not the people that wrote the software. Whatever the guarantee the software has, it basically says "Whoops! We didn't mean anything we said in the product marketing! We didn't mean to say that the software should do what it says it does!"

I expect that after three years, he is at the very least a very good corner on the verge of making a pro-bowl. There's a reason these guys sign 5-year contracts.

You should grasp that a critique of the board is not a critique of you.

Because the people who hate the draft have the most vitriol about it, and are mostly the ones acting like children about it. They are also the ones who are completely unable to substantiate their opinions. And you should read down a little further in the post.

For those who don't like the draft, please post your resume. Please include the following: 1. number of hours (+/- 20) spent studying film this past offseason. Anything less than 120, don't bother posting. 2. number of years employed by an NFL team evaluating talent 3. Number of combines attended 4. Specialty in evaluation by position, and years evaluating each position 5. If you don't have 5 years evaluating college talent at the NFL level, please post the NFL position you played and # of years at that position. 6. If you have more than 10 years evaluating talent, please give the number of years at the director level. 7. If none of the above, please post the number of years experience as an NFL coach, assistant, or owner. I just want to get an idea of the credibility of the skeptics around here. Basically, I want to know whose opinions I should ignore.

The funny part is you got your opinions by regurgitating someone else's. Where did you learn to evaluate players? Do you do it professionally? How much film have you watched the past 4 years? Have you gone to the combine? Are you privy to the draft strategy of the Bills? Do you know who the Bills plan to target via FA before training camp? I'd love to hear answers to all of the above, and what makes you an expert. My guess? You're an idiot who gets all his information on the internet, and think you know what you are talking about. You don't. Only smart people know their limitations, and I think that's the only point people are trying to make. You think you know what you don't. And that makes you a fool.
