  1. I agree with 1/2 the logic, because Spiller is looking like a bad pick. We'll know for sure by the end of this year because he will be starting. The part I don't agree with is about Marshawn. The guy was facing a one year suspension with one more screwup. Given his history of screwing up, that was a legitimate concern. I think trading him was justified, given his penchant for making bad decisions. The #9 pick on spiller, no matter what we did with marshawn, is starting to look bad. I think Nix underestimated how poorly the team had drafted for the previous 10 years and tried to pick a luxury guy.
  2. There's no reason to try to usurp Chan. He's doing quite well.
  3. Yep those wins are great, especially the last minute stuff. He certainly has some type of clutch thing going - it's like he has a "clutch" switch he turns on in the 4th quarter. Definitely fun to watch. I bet the broncos hope they always have a good defense, tho, as long as tebow is their QB. Oh, and never have to rely on the pass. I'm just trying to evaluate his performance logically and rationally.
  4. What excellent reading comprehension! Excellent post as usual!
  5. Are you embarrassed for posting stupid ****?
  6. For all everyone's bitching about ALL past regimes, I'm amazed that people are too dim to realize this is what happens when you change coaches and GMs all the time. You get rid of players that were good because they may not fit what the new regime wants to do (London Fletcher, anyone?). Or the player may do completely stupid stuff off the field, like Marshawn did. People forget that Marshawn was ONE mistake away from a suspension. From a business standpoint, he was a liability. So if you want Nix gone, then please don't B word when our good players are gone again. For all of your bitching about Nix, I hope you realize that if he is fired (as many of you fools apparently would prefer), the EXACT same thing will happen with our current good players. Some would be gone. Period. No matter what GM you bring in. I'm happy for Marshawn, BTW. I always liked how he seemed to have fun on the field, and when he ran hard, he ran well. He wasn't exactly good at picking up the blitz, but hey, the guy can run. Good for him. Are you really stupid enough to infer that Chan isn't a good offensive coach? A simple yes or no will do.
  7. And 65 completions. Horrid.
  8. If tebow makes the pro bowl as a QB, we'll need to redefine what a "pass" is. The guy can't pass.
  9. The kid gets it. He really does.
  10. He was switched to OT when put on the PS. A luxury pick at the end of the 7th round? Is there such a thing? I mean, it is the seventh round.
  11. I say defense all the way. If the defense could prevent a touchdown from a crappy QB, or at least get a sack or two, we would win.
  12. What about Lynch? I'm not sure you could predict what would happen with McGahee with lynch in the pciture. Jackson might have never made the field.
  13. I'm not sure we need Sunday to have the bust discussion.
  14. He's right, though. Tebow isn't a QB. He's something else. Smart coaches use their players abilities, and avoid their liabilities. Tebow's liability is that he's not a QB. The guy can't pass. He sucks at passing. He's NOT a QB. He runs a fantastic option, though.
  15. I agree. The only reason it works is because people haven't really prepared for it. The Wildcat is simply a little changeup right now, and the option will be the same. That said, every team should have as much stuff in their playbook as possible so the other team must prepare for it.
  16. Did you watch the game?
  17. "I left for an even worse city when I went to college in Binghamton," Well Buffalo, at least you aren't Binghamton. Seriously, the Bing is the worst place in the entire state. There's nothing good about it.
  18. A proven performer who you just gave a new contract in exchange for an unknown draft choice? No.
  19. The Cowpukes are near the top of my list of teams I hate. I really hate them. I hate their owner, their history, and their players (old and new). I have a great book to recommend: I hate the Dallas Cowboys
  20. I think the thing about this thread is all the mocking that happens regarding a team that is trying to do something to sell tickets in an effort to boost home field advantage. I don't understand why a bunch of miserable "fans" would mock a team that is trying to be successful. I know some people who come here are moronic miserable bastards, and it boggles my mind why someone would waste their time coming here if the Bills make them miserable. It's really comical.
  21. Because he's been the kicker for two years, and knows all the trick plays and schemes when needed. Lots of planning goes into s. teams, so now we will be stuck with a kicker who won't be able to execute any of the nonstandard plays the Bills have set up. This is more important than you think.
  22. Exactly. What the hell is wrong with people? Wow. You're a fantastic fan. How can you mock a team that is in a tie for first place in the AFCE half way through the season?
  23. Really? The guy is horrible. He's clearly overmatched in the pro game. He isn't even mediocre, he's horrible. He needs to get a lot better just to be at the level of JP Losman or Trent Edwards. With his retarded throwing motion, he might do OK in the lowest arena league. I think his persona and personality lend themselves to coaching. I think that's where he should head.
