Also - what hashmark were they lined up on? Left or right?

But if they are merely injured, paralized, brain-damaged, etc., the state is obligated to pay their medical bills. Sux for taxpayers, I guess! I don't think common sense should need to be legislated, unless it's forcing your average taxpayer to foot the bill for the lack of common sense. Cell phones in cars is another good example. I've seen no evidence that using a cell phone in a car with a headset vs. without a headset decreases the chances of someone getting in an accident. Why legislate that?

Fatalities increase after helmet law repealed I know there's quite a bit of debate regarding helmet laws, but this one seems like common sense to me. Why the hell wouldn't you wear a helmet on a motorcycle? Why the hell would you go out of your way to lobby to repeal a common-sense law? If we're going to be forced to pay for someone else's hospital bills because they are stupid enough not to wear a helmet, then it IS the government's responsibility to ensure we save our tax dollars for stuff that's worthwhile.

Add Pat Kirwin to those who dismiss the Bills
todd replied to marck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also of note - Mularkey & Clements made Kordell a pro-bowl QB! Writers also need to ask themselves if Losman will lead the league in sacks and turnovers by a QB as Drew has. -
The national media is rooting for Buffalo to fail because they've started making their predictions for this year. Buffalo will clearly kick butt on D and ST, is set at RB, WR, and TE, so the only remaining whipping boy is losman. And the OL. Nobody has Buffalo winning the division, and if the media says losman is playing well they pretty much contradict their preseason predictions. So no matter how well losman plays this year, plan on the pundits who predicted buffalo to finish 3rd or 4th in the AFCE to continue to diss the offense. It's gonna be fun to watch.

Not true at all. Learn about the salary cap. Signing bonuses are amortized. It's likely that nate's cap # would be lower this year if he gets a new deal. Additionally, we have 5mil of dead cap due to bledsoe.

Happy Birthday, bobble! I have a book for you. Odd that I got it not knowing it was your birthday, but hey.

Why would the Bills attempt to acquire Corey Simon

Ummm... let me think. NO! That's gotta be the most retarded thing I've ever heard. -

todd replied to firstngoal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd like to get him. Everyone who knows football knows the key to good play of your defensive backs is good line play. DL is extremely important, especially when you are rotating them. -
I heard that he passed on today. I don't have a link, but my source is reliable.

Bills trying to get Eagles' Corey Simon!
todd replied to Tolstoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not sure about that. We'd have plenty of $$ left because Clements is making a good salary this year. We could give him a bonus and a lower salary this year. The bonus would be amortized over the length of the contract. We certainly have enough $$ to sign Simon AND Clements. And for next year, please remember we won't have Drew's dead cap dollars counting against the cap. -

Who? I don't know who is out there and is worth the $$ they are asking. -

So, who here has NFL Network and is going to
todd replied to nodnarb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I sent a note to Time Warner last week. They have plans to carry the NFL network, and said they were in negotiations right now. The question is if we have to pay extra for it or not. Given how much I pay that company a month, I don't think it would hurt them to slip in the NFL network. Sheesh. -
I have a theory that 10% of the world population are a$$h0les. We've found one of that 10%.

I think the improvement in the Bills squad over the past few years has been phenominal. Think about it - these women have to smile the entire game - win or lose - and deal with the weather, along with dancing around and trying to look enthused about being in the snow. Not only that, they have to deal with a bunch of drunk jerks screaming at them in the end zones, and still get paid squat for their efforts. Not only that, but whoever coordinates the team must reap from a very small market: 1) Women who can dance, 2) Women who are willing to work for nothing, 3) Women who are good looking, and 4) Women who have cheerleading experience. Whoever does this does a fine job. I also think it's hilarious that a bunch of ugly guys with beer guts on TBD find it acceptable to critique women that they have no chance of dating, anyway. None. But hey, that's what makes us shallow men, right?

Mmmm. DiBella's subs are actually BETTER than Wegman's because they use more meat. Wegman's bought their sub business from DiBella's.

Funny. I find it odd that Pats fans try to rationalize that they WEREN'T ravaged this offseason, which IS the case.

Dickerson is horrible. Even one day a week of that guy is too much. Lots of people know their football. He knows his football, but he's a jerk. A complete buffoon. The guy is so damn bitter it's disgusting. WGR has turned into a crap station, and now it's getting worse. I used to listen all the time. No, I won't be listening.

Yeah, sound like a great forward-thinking plan. Screw him. Actually, I heard moulds dropped a pass so we should cut him as well. And JP has made some mistakes, so screw him. Gone, all of them!

Did Bill Frist just throw his hat in the'08 Ring?

The important thing to note is the particular stem cells that our President opposes funding. Human embryonic stem cells have different properties and capabilities that are unique to them. By denying federal funding to this type of research is idiotic because of the potential cures and therapies they could produce. Current funding is limited in nature and therefore limited in results. But Bush is a radical christian who probably thinks evolution is a farce, so this is what we get. A president stuck in the 1600s.
