  1. I love Ayn Rand, and Shrugged is one of my favorite books. Jolie and Pitt? No way. I don't think either of them have the talent to pull off the nuances of those characters.
  2. Yes, those are certainly immediate needs, I agree. However, Spikes and Fletch both are FAs after this year, unless I'm mistaken. We're gonna need LBs very soon.
  3. Actually, I've never made one before, but this year I start. And it will be a surprise. Kinda. But it makes sense. Buffalo takes a linebacker in the first three rounds. Maybe round 2 even. Call me crazy, but it will happen.
  4. Termites and carpenter ants are attracted to moisture. This means that his shower most likely leaks. He needs to repair his shower, and make sure no moisture is getting into the wood. This probably means new tiling including moisture barriers. Also, you can't really treat termites with something from home depot. You need an expert. When I was most broke, I found that making sure I spend whatever money I had on proper maintenance of my house saved $$ in the long run. Problems have a tendency to lead to others.
  5. I don't know much about the charting, either. I think, however, that given the chances of hitting on 3 or 4 players that we'd have to give up to get one, I'd take my chances with the 3 or 4. As we learned with Mike Williams, there's no sure thing picking that high. It's a crapshoot, but you never know when you're going to get an andre reed or thurman thomas.
  6. Are you kidding? People will be calling for their heads after the draft because we didn't trade up and get 5 first rounders.
  7. Yes, and oddly enough she left them behind! I had to take them to the pound, so to speak. :-)
  8. Same here. Although I think I may have three layers total because the crazy B word who owned the house before me was an idiot.
  9. Seems to me Buffalo didn't like what it saw at minicamp in those positions. Of course, with willis not being there, the depth at RB is suspicious at best.
  10. So it is essentially a one-year contract with incentives which make it 4 years for 10 mil. Not bad. I bet most of those bonuses are roster bonuses and playing time bonuses. The deal is structured this way: If Peerless plays well, he's worth every penny. If he doesn't, Buffalo cuts him and loses very little.
  11. I've played talamore and ejoyed it greatly.
  12. I've played one of the foxfire courses. Don't remember which one, but really liked it. Quite good. I'm a golf course snob, too. I hate poorly maintaned courses, crappy sand, and slow greens.
  13. He's only camp fodder, fellas. I bet we sign a few more.
  14. Not sure what you mean about him and his ilk. What do you mean?
  15. Been watching it all afternoon!
  16. Actually, probably no fish around thanksgiving either.
  17. The aversion to real science and discovery is why I discount the church! Science and christianity are not mutually exclusive, as some fundimentalist loonies would have you think.
  18. Good points, but there are so many ways to work around all of those issues it isn't a big deal. For example, Golisano could buy a minority share of the team now, and buy the rest when Ralph dies. No problem.
  19. I think reserving the naming rights for a more dire period is wise. Very wise. He could always call it "Paychex Field at Ralph Wilson Stadium" or something.
  20. Holy crap! That Gibson dude is 370 Lbs! espn profile NFL Profile Played in 16 games for the bears in 2003. Out of football in 2005. I think this was the guy drafted in the 1st round by Detroit in 1999.
  21. If I had to guess your age it would be 14.
  22. We went to St. Thomas and St. John. I'd never do a cruise because it would drive me nuts. Too structured. Loved St. Thomas & St. John.
  23. I love the Masters. My favorite golf tournament, and other than the Super Bowl my favorite sporting event.
  24. nah, he could just use a mirror.
  25. My fav line: Yes, I'm a virgin. I've always been that way.
