  1. Using another 1st round pick on a QB as many here are advocating is stupid. Haven't we learned from the past? In the past 4 years we've spent 2 first rounders on QBs, and as of yet have nothing to show for it. So now we have people complaining that we should give up on Losman and draft another QB in the first round. Has anyone learned from the past? Doesn't anyone else see that this is not a pattern to be stuck in? Don't people realize you can't have a good QB without a good O-line? Don't people realize you can't have a good team with a dominant front 7? sheesh, the patterns of idiocy drive me nuts.
  2. Yeah, the first day of FA is truly an example of how a regime will function. Dude. quite the dope. It makes you stupid.
  3. I love it when morons spaz in the first day of FA.
  4. Actually, I credit Ralph for being a stand-up guy and being frank. Ralph is 100% right. It sounds like there wasn't enough investigation into what was actually happeing. Maybe he didn't explain it well, but Ralph is right. I know for sure that when I bought our house I didn't understand what the hell all the documents meant in front of me, so I took my damn sweet time to read it before I signed anything. This is called prudent business.
  5. This one has my vote for "clueless post of the day"
  6. I still don't know why we didn't just feed jamie nails big macs all summer and have him lie down in front of the QB.
  7. Looks like a great one: LB - junior
  8. You are correct, but the KEY to cover two is getting a push from your D-line even if you don't blitz. Sam Adams gets a killer jump off the ball, and would do well in the cover-2.
  9. Matthews always talks about the horses for way too long. Nobody cares, but he has such a gambling problem he always obsesses about horse racing.
  10. Cutting Losman or Holcomb and signing ramsey would be an incredibly stupid move. I can't understand why anyone would even suggest that.
  11. Love the Mizunos. I've never hit the cobras, but I used to have a cobra driver that I loved.
  12. Too many first-rounders spent on QBs, both before and during Donahoe's tenure.
  13. I know there are two types of incentive clauses - those deemed "likely to reach" and those deemed "unlikely to reach". Those that are "likely to be reached" are counted in the cap, the unlikely ones aren't until they are reached. I don't know how adjustments are made to this, or what year they count in if reached. I do remember Doug Flutie reaching some of the unlikely ones and he had to have his contract reworked mid-year to keep the bills under the cap.
  14. Bertha Titanium 454 Mizuno F-50 15 deg 3 wood Callaway Steelhead II 5 wood (graphite) Callaway Steelhead III 7 wood (steel) - have either this or the 3-iron in the bag Mizuno MP30 Irons (3-PW) Mizuno MP wedges - 52 and 58 degree. Oddesy 2-ball putter Titleist Pro-V1 or Callawy HX Red Switched to corded grips at the end of last year and love them.
  15. Exactly. That's the way it is around here - and on most boards I would guess. It used to bother me more than it does now, but I finally realized some people really enjoy fantasizing about that kind of thing. More power to them, I guess.
  16. Rome is a dork. His "slang" is hilarious, because he makes such a huge effort to sound cool. He fails. He's not entertaining, he's not funny, and his callers are pitiful because they all try to sound just like him. But hell, if I could make that kind of "jack" reading e-mails from idiot listeners on the air I suppose I would.
  17. You actually think you can get a 3rd for JP? Trading anything for a QB that isn't Peyton Manning caliber with our team needs is stupid.
  18. Yes, hours of psychopathic amusement. I don't really miss him, but his rants were hilarious.
  19. Cap numbers mean zilch unless you know how many players are under contract. If you have 30 players under contract and are 25 million under, it means nothing. Cap numbers this time of year are only calaculated with players under contract. I'd like to know how many players some of those teams with cap room have under contract.
  20. No way, man. He bagged that hobbit-wench who fed him beer.
  21. Yeah, basically he's a grunt. He watches tons of film, identifies key tendencies, documents stuff on opposing team's plays, etc.
  22. Because it's the Pro Football hall of fame, and Warren Moon played in the CFL and put up some amazing numbers. Looks to me like they couldn't choose, so decided not to.
  23. Thurman didn't get in.
