  1. For those who want them to just lose the next 3 for a better draft pick, is it really going to matter? With 6 wins and a bunch of teams that are already ahead of them for the #1 spot that they can't catch, what the best they could draft at with 6 wins compared to 9 wins? Drafting between 6th and mid teens? With their roster needs and those draft spots, it's not like drafting a couple of spots sooner would make that much of a difference u less there is someone they really badly want. The only advantage to losing more games is hoping that it puts the final nails in Rex's coffin
  2. If they already had someone agreeing to the job, they would have to be currently on this staff,a college guy,or currently no employed with a team cause otherwise I believe it would be tampering negotiating with another teams coach. Throw in the Rooney rule and this rumor can be laughed off
  3. Well, this sou fed like it was going to be a decent game, but since the ravens defence is making the Bills defence look like world beaters this is becoming unwatchable.
  4. Well it might help if the teams the are supposed to face would show up.... I actually believed this game would be close, looking like a typical NE blowout after almost losing the that juggernaut Jets team last week
  5. Yeah, but you can't win in the NFL without a complex defence that takes special minds/players to understand and make it work.
  6. Yeah, I know, but everyone is calling for Jones to start over EJ, haven't seen too many people wanting EJ Well as someone else also mentioned, there is another person on the roster who could start, and hes ahead of Jones on the depth chart................. Thanks for demonstrating how Super smart this fan base is.........
  7. Whaley has already said they are not going to start Jones this year, still too raw to be thrown out to the wolves. It's only the Super smart fanbase with no knowledge of what's been going on in practice that assumes he should be ready to sink or swim because they have to know before the offseason
  8. I think KC is overrated and Oakland is a flawed team, both are lucky to have the records they have with the way they have played (especially the raiders who should be dominating games, not squeaking them out in the end) The ravens are one of the better teams in the AFC with the Pats and am surprised to see them 6.5 point underdogs when next week the early odds have the pats only favored by 3 over Denver next week. I think this is gonna be a close one with maybe the Ravens pulling off the upset.
  9. the only reason for Jones to play is so that the fans can satisfy their own curiosity and speculation on whether he can play. The front office know what they have, a qb with potential that needs time to work on his skills and learn the role better because he had little experience as a starter in college. He is a high ceiling project who should not see the field this year, if TT is no longer starting, it's EJ time for the next 3 games
  10. Yeah, getting a kicker who can make Extra points and field goals is the least of the teams worries with this offenses ability to put up points...... I am not even considering the botched onside kick cause really how many times does it really Work? Carps kickoff abilities were so great they carried a kickoff specialist to do them, and now he can't even make extra points and field goals. But no problem, the offence doesn't need those points. Carp is not the biggest problem, but he is a big problem that should be addressed as soon as possible.
  11. And how many NE Co-ordinaries have gone on to be successful head coaches? McDaniel already failed as a HC. And what has Lynn done to make him someone you just can't lose? I don't see anyone on This coaching staff that I would lose sleep over seeing leave.....
  12. well the excuses I have heard for the last year were that Carp was injured or mentally hurt by Rex causing him to miss kicks, not that it was possible le his first year in buffalo was a fluke and there was a reason the Dolphins tossed him away.... no, it's actually one of the many problems that needs to be fixed. Nothing deflates momentum more then a kicker missing extra points and field goals.
  13. no they don't have to see anything, he was drafted as a project expecting he would take some time, he didn't have much experience in college as a starter, even if he looks good against the Browns, Jets and Dolphins, that's not enough to say they have someone capable. Let him spend the rest of the season on the bench then let him compete in training camp. Either let Taylor finish the season and just open things up, or give the ball to EJ to ride out the year. that would be so Bills luck to have Taylor get a serious injury that would guarantee the contract in one of the last few games this year.....
  14. your talking about Rex here,he loves oldschool football, too bad he has preschool intelegence and ability. * sorry, I apologize to all preschoolers for insulting them like that*
  15. until we find out its a whole "Rams/Fisher thing and the Bills actually picked up the option just before the season started and just waiting to make the announcement. why wait? Get rid of the cancer as soon as possible and get the loser and his dimwit brother as far as possible away from this team. atleast it will give them some tape to evaluate him on to figure out if he is a candidate or just a courtesy interview
  16. that's the same turf they have at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. The field is made up of those rubber pellets from ground up tires. The pro led they had I. Toronto was balls being hit and the pellets spraying up on to the field and getting into players faces/eyes. After a while the rubber was supposed to compact and spray less. I was surprised at how much came up just from clearing the field of snow and people keep calling for Schwartz, did anyone see his time coaching the Lions?
  17. I think the increase in Ticket sales had more to do that offseason with the new owners taking over the team that offseason, not bringing in a HC that Bills fans watch for years coach a mediocre Jets team.
  18. Yes, they will beat the Browns, the Bills led by rex are not a good team, but they are not bad enough to lose to the Browns right now even with rex as a coach. People thought they had a chance this week against a beat up Bengals team with their best QB back in and they got beat. Bills beat the Bengals, and will beat the Browns. Fire Rex this week and I think they win easily (Teams firing their HC almost always come out the next game looking great)
  19. I felt dirty hoping they would win when the game got close because of a couple of pools....
  20. You're right, keep Rex around so that he can do something he has yet to show he can do and turn things around here And the only thing that keeping Rex will show other coaches is that the Bills are a great place to hold a job when your incompetent. Most coaching candidates aren't going to see a HC opportunity in Buffalo being a bad option because they let Rex go after making them worse when they were on the verge of getting better.....
  21. Yeah, but lets see what happens without Rex as the HC..........
  22. Not enough Comedy on Sunday night? I doubt FOX would let them compete against their sunday night lineup.........
  23. Nah, its a pretty safe bet, even safer if Rex isn't on the sidelines next week. Just watch some of the Browns games, they aren't beating anyone this year
  24. I really haven't seen a deifference, and its not a knock on Williams, this defence is just craptacular and can't stop anyone no matter who is playing........
  25. the new coach who is hired in the offseason, Its pretty obvious Rex isn't gonna be able to do it wheter he is here for another 3 games or fired now, and if theres no chance for the playoffs anymore this year, make the move now and get a start on the offseason early
