It just shows what the true football IQ of this board is at...... It's always a good idea to give a coaching staff more then just one off-season to get things turned around. Rex walked into a job with a good defence and an offence that needed fixing. During his time here they didn't look like they were going to turn things around and now they have a coach and GM that are doing exactly what the fans were screaming for, to blow everything up and rebuild which is what they are doing. But since they can't just forfeit seasons until the build their team They have to balance the roster and try to compete while rebuilding. That's usually done by collecting picks and filling the roster with experienced veterans. This team has a large amount of picks in the next draft and will have roster space and some cap space to make some more changes for next year.

But I thought he was "the most NFL ready QB in the draft" and was expected to go in like the 3rd round? Lol

Not a chance he is back next year unless he truly is a masochist. This is the 2nd regime to jerk him around (Whaley pulled him at the end of last season, now he gets pulled by McD) iirc I believe he has an out in this deal and I would be shocked if he didn't use it. I think he will personally use the rest of the season as a showcase and be out of here no matter what happens the rest of the way. And if he doesn't have an out I the deal, I would expect he and his agent request a trade or will sit out until released.

Actually, a large majority of this board said things couldn't be worse then the offence with Taylor. And Peterman needs another chance? I would be afraid of letting him into a game for mop up duty in a blowout. Today he showed why he lasted to the 5th round and why many scouting reports had him as a backup in this league.

The problem isn't the QB, it's the guy designing and calling the plays for the QB. You know what you have in TT, there's some good and some bad with him, some good advice to him would be to work to what he does well.

And he threw more INTs in one half then TT has all year.... Just say in.....

You would be surprised how many other businesses are the exact same way. Just look a little further towards the current mess in Hollywood. Shows are being canceled and actors are being destroyed over allegations of sexual misconduct. Has spacey or Weinstein been convicted in a court of law of any wrong doing at this time? The NBA forced an owner to sell his team because he made a racial comment to some young girl he was with. If you read your work agreement in most jobs these days, many have clauses that say you can be terminated for doing or being a part of anything that may reflect negatively on the employer.

Jerry is just mad his boy toy RB was being suspended. If Elliott was on any other team, Jerry would be standing by Goodell and asking why the other owners haven't signed the deal already. But it's one of his top stars being punished so he throws a tantrum because he thinks he is really the guy running the league and everyone should be following him

Well first you might want to see if they actually use him and not just keep him In case of emergency. They picked him up cause they lost a backup to injury and one of their backup options just signed with the Bills. They didn't pick him up to run 3 RBs, and he wasn't even playing in Denver, yet Bills fans drool over how amazing this guy is and it's such a mistake to not have him here as part of the offence. Laughing about the Bills picking up a Jets cast off would be the same thing as the Broncos and Saints picking up Williams, a bills castoff

Sad thing about that is the Steelers don't even look that good, some weeks they look great, other weeks garbage and definitely beatable. Even the Chiefs have slowed a bit from the hot start

While tyrod and the offence didn't help the defence, the defence didnt help the defence in the Saints game. You do realise right from the start the Saints werent getting stopped by the defence. They did not force a punt all game. So unless Tyrod was doing something with the defence pregame that wore them out, it doesnt matter what the offence did, the defence couldnt stop the Saints. It's no conspiracy or alterior motives behind the move. They made a change because the offence wasnt getting it done and needed a shake up. Since the coaching staff is trying to win games, no matter what everyone thinks, they had to do something to spark the offence. Its either change QBs and see if that makes a difference, or change OCs and try to run a changed offence which would be more difficult because they wouldn't have time to make the changes. Let's hope the armchair GMs here are right and Tyrod was the problem with the offence and Peterman is some hidden gem. Although I'm sure that still won't satisfy fans around here who thrive on misery.....

They do it to rookies to try and confuse them or throw them off because they lack experience, they don't usually do it to veterans cause they are less likely to be nervous and most likely to recognise a mismatch that might come up because of the confusion. Reasons not to do it, cause it might also be more difficult and confusing for your own defenders to have to remember these plays, and because against the better QBs, you are usually trying to defend what they are trying to do, not them trying to run a play to beat what the defence is trying to do. In most games the defence isn't dictating what the offence is going to have to do, the offence controls what is going to be run and the defence tries to stop that.

I couldn't believe during the pregame and they showed the AFC playoff standings, are there really only 6 teams in the AFC with winning records? Bills were in 6th at 5-4 and everyone below was 4-5?

That's not the issue, going for it on 4th down late in the game while up by around 30 is the issue. Jokingly I said they could have tried throwing the ball instead of running cause the Bills may have had a better chance stopping them.

Didn't Aaron maybin also get to start some games in Buffalo? Ducasse is also starting in the NFL. Tyrod taylor has to be a good NFL QB, he is a Starter in the NFL too! They might not be trash compared to any Joe off the street whos only football experience may have been playing some PeeWee football as a kid, but compared to other players in the NFL and their position, they are trash.

Good for Williams This is now his third team this season I believe? Has he even been active for a game this year This isn't the Saints running out to sign someone to step in and be their #1 RB, they lost a depth RB STer on Sunday and needed to fill the spot, they also lost the guy they most likely would have re-signed to the Bills It was a depth move that no one outside of Buffalo, and maybe a few in NO actually noticed or care about. Doubt the Pats are running out to grab and study game film on him just in case they face each other in the SB.....

Seeing as how I can remember the last time the bills had either a defence that having a 30 point lead is safe with, or an offence that could put up a 30 point lead on the other team, its not easy to answer that question, but I don't think I would be yelling at the TV for him to go for it on 4th down when they have a commanding lead like that. Unless its the patriots, but they deserve decades of misery and no respect........

No, the Bills D may have had a chance at stopping that....... He was going for it on 4th down at that point (or close to it) Before half time I have no problem with teams going for as many points as they can or doing whatever they have to to get a big lead, but once its evident the other team is giving up and pretty much calling mercy, then its time to let off the gas

70's pickups do have that nice solid look to them, not quite "classic" but not "new" They look solid, and are some of the only vehicles out there that make an engine bay with a v8 motor in it look spacious I do think that with those trucks, it has to be single cab shortbox. They don't look as good with the long boxes
