I will wait to hear from the team before jumping to conclusions. For all we know this was just a casual ask by Allen to see if he wants to join them and he said no cause he was doing something else in warmups. He also may be a little banged up and just looking to take it easy in warmups so he can play today? But whatever, it's easier to hate on him and run him out of town......

They can still obtain a QB in FA or trade this offseason to take over until the are able to get someone else in the draft too. They can be criticized, but it doesnt mean that those criticizing are right. Having a player like Barkley to take the pressure off the QB will help make a young QB look better. Would Goff look as good as he has without having Gurley and instead some scrub RB?

When isnt there someone good enough to justify drafting in the 1st? It's much rarer to have a year where there isnt one then when there is one worth taking a chance on (they may not always work out though). People talked about Winston/Mahommes draft being weak for QBs in the 1st, even Wentz and Goff weren't thought of being cant miss choices. Tou can never go wrong drafting a cant miss extremely talented player. Outside of week 1 against the Lions, Darnold hasnt looked great, Allen is being discussed on whether he should sit again for a bit, Rosen hasnt shown anything special. Barkley is already being considered one of the best RBs playing right now. This idea that you have to have the QB in place before you can obtain the surrounding talent is not a smart way of doing things. You get talent when it's available to you. The Giants got one of the top players in this draft, it wasnt a bad pick because the player wasnt a QB

And if anything, last nights game just lowered the offer the Eagles would have been willing to give the Bill's for McCoy. They arent desperate for another running back like Bill's fans might like to believe so why would they overpay? They know the Steelers would love to get rid of the Bell headache, and Buffalo loves dumping talent for cap space/deadcap money and draft picks. They make the call, find out what's the lowest they can obtain one of them for and sit still if it's too much.

Probably because they picked an extremely good offensive weapon who's been able to produce from the start instead of a turnover machine the Jets have, and a 'potentially high ceiling' developmental QB the Bill's have or Rosen. Unlike the Bill's, the Giants could still draft a QB next draft AND bring in a FA QB to hold things down until he is ready if they decide to part ways with Eli this offseason. The already have very good weapons for any QB to work with from the start

So you like your woman to look like dudes, but just not be a dude?

I look at it as a much bigger, heavier and more expensive jigsaw puzzle. And it's more fun cause at the end you have something useful instead of just a picture you are going to break back apart and put back in a box! There are some fine detailing that needs to be done, even more so if you want to make it better then stock. Some of that work is best to bring the parts somewhere and have a pro do that work. I almost made a dangerous mistake when I rebuilt my motor. I guess while the motor was out of the truck, the shift linkage for the tranny had been moved and when I put it back together, the tranny was in drive bit the shifter said park. It gave a little jerk forward when I tried to turn it over. Then when I got it together and running I found that I forgot to install a rear gasket on a plate that went over the back of the cam. I notice the oil leak and was lucky that I got it in without having to pull everything apart, just disconnected the tranny and pushed it back a little. Had just enough room for my arm and a wrench to get to it.

70k for 9 months of work with the summers off...... -
He also used it for the name of his "production company" when he was maki g and selling the commercial advertising space he bought before losing his liscence. He may have also used it during his 'Slippin Jimmy' years. It's his usual Alias for business ventures when he doesnt want to use his own name.

Well they haven't been much of a factor for the last 5 weeks, but most players or teams use their game against the Bill's as turning points..... -
Same here, haven't watched it yet, own the series on DVD, keep saying I'm going to watch it but haven't been able to. Most nights I have shows or movies on my computer while working but BB is one of those shows I want to watch and pay attention to so it's hard to be working at the same time.

Dont you love it when you have to replace something that is a normal maintenance type item and they put it somewhere in a place that is not easily accessible and involves spending more time removing other parts and items to get to it then to replace the part? I had a '99 Ford Explorer for a few months that I bought and had a ticking noise coming from the motor. Bought it at a used car dealer 'As Is' because of it, was told they had a Ford dealer look at it and said sticky lifters. Bought it anyway cause it wasnt that bad. 2 months later while driving to play ball hockey, engine stalls and never starts again. Ford designed these motors with multiple timing chains, with one being located at the back of the motor. This chain also had a plastic guide that would become brittle and break, causing the chain to fail and destroy the internals of the engine. It wasn't an easy fix to replace the guide with the engine in place and usually involved removing the motor. Cost me a couple grand to have a mechanic replace the motor with one from a wrecker. Would have done it myself but it was February and I had no garage and working full time.

No playoff format will change things if you dont watch games your favorite team isnt in just like pretty much every sport. There are people who love the game and will watch other games or just the playoffs, but the majority arent going to sit down every night to watch games their team isnt in. Even in football playoffs, most people will watch the Super Bowl no matter who's playing, by an AFC wildcard game? Much less. Until baseball is able to balance the league so it's not always the same teams dominating the league and collecting the top players, they wont attract casual fans to watch regularly. Sure you get the occasional small market club getting to the wild card game or divisional series like the Rockies or As, but usually they arent making it that far. The only thing that could have made the playoffs better would have been the Red Sox and Yankees both being swallowed up into a giant sink hole and neither team moving forward or existing anymore.

I think he knows that he will always be associated with and tied to Chuck because of his name and will never get a chance because of it. Also this allows him to wipe the slate clean and start over with his own identity

Just watched it last night, didnt really leave with a cliff hanger but set up the rest of the show now that Saul is born. This now sets up the final leg of the series. We have now seen how Saul comes to be, and how Mike became Gus's guy and how the meth lab was built. I guess theres a few ways to go about the series now. They could do another season showing the lab getting finished somehow now without its head builder, and Saul setting up his practice, or they could maybe stretch another season or 2 out of it by jumping forward a bit with Saul up and running and the lab being finished and getting up and running. I think the last scene of the show should be the moment that Saul meets Walter, tying the 2 shows together. I still think that Gene is trying to reconnect, if he hasnt already, with Kim who I would expect leaves him and goes back home after realizing who he really is and can be. Could also see another curveballs thrown that the person Jimmy tells his assistant to call (if it isnt Kim who could also be practicing under a new name) is the girl he wanted to give the scholarship to. You find out she is the female version of him and work her through law school (maybe with his help) and she helps him with things? I really dont see another spinoff of the series though.

Today's vehicles are getting harder and harder to work on yourself, everything is tied to a computer, and they jam so much stuff into such a tiny space you have to take half the vehicle apart to get to something simple. My sister and her husband have a Dodge Journey, a few weeks ago I brought my battery charger over cause their battery died while they were away for the weekend and it sat (they bluetooth thing for the phone connection was malfunctioning and drained it apparently). There are only connection points for boosting or connecting to the battery up top in the engine compartment, the battery is down below under a bunch of things and takes a bit of time removing stuff just to get to the battery ro swap a new one in. One of the things I loved about my jeep was all the room around the motor. I could see the ground below when I looked in the engine bay. Engines arent that bad, rebuilt the 2.8l engine in my old s15 Jimmy in high school when the bearings spun. It seems daunting but it's not that bad, I found it fun. Automatic transmissions on the other hand seem like they would be much more difficult to do, I have thought about taking one of the scrap ones I still have apart for fun.....

Bojorquez should be cut

Same thing that happened to Coleman, the WR they traded for from the Browns. They gave him 1 or 2 games then dropped him for someone else. I dont remember hearing about him signing anywhere else though...
