Ever since AT&T took over Direct TV, I've seen major changes. I called to get Sunday ticket for free and they fought me at every turn. I intended to cancel Direct TV all together but they ended up giving Direct TV free for the year. I spent over two hours on the phone with them and it wasn't pleasant. It would have been cheaper for them to have given me the ticket than to give me free service for a year. I went through 5 people in retention. I think they expect you to give up. I told them, "I can do this all day" and that "I'm not hanging up until you give me what I want"

Thanks everyone for your viewpoints, for making me laugh, etc. each time I get on here. I don't post much, which is good because I'm full of crap most of the time; however, I come here for up to date news on our Bills and I usually leave with a smile on my face due to someone's beliefs or viewpoints. This is the first year I probably won't hassle them over the Ticket. Reason why- I'm getting direct tv for free for a full year. I've been with them since the beginning and my contract was up. Once I called to seriously cancel, they gave it to me free of charge for a year. I'd feel greedy if I called back and said, I need the Ticket free too

If they are doing it for a good cause, then good for them. The ads for the espy's just come across as very network focused, like a rip off of the oscars. I didn't watch the espy's and I'm proud to say I've never watched it. You don't see NBC or CBS doing their own network awards show. How ego driven can you be??? Also, giving sports awards to teams and players that have already won- how stupid can you get. And the best nba team of 2015-2016 goes to the Cavs. No crap Sherlock! God I hate ESPN at times!
