  1. My question was just that, do all QBs work with private coaches each off season on basic fundamentals and weakness equally, alot have answered yes citing successful QBs. But how about the marginal ones?
  2. It's not intended to be a s*** on Barker thread, that was just a few very vague examples, and Im wondering if there's more specific examples pro or con.
  3. So we've all read about Josh's off season work with Palmer and zeroing on things to improve and machanics. I also read about Joe Burrow working on specific fundamentals and mechanical things. But then I read Baker Mayfield, nothing more than getting together with his WRs to throw the ball and work on chemistry (and possible party) My question to those who follow the off season more intently than I do is do you see/ hear some QBs working harder the others?.....ie fundamentals basic stuff more so than others? I heard stories of Sam Danrold working with Palmer and taking his advice, run one or two plays and say "yea I got it" while other work to nausea. So, is there an underlying indicator in the off-season on how some of these two, three, four year QBs work to actually determine whose gonna have a long career and be the next elite and who will be the next Ryan Leif?
  4. I had to go RB based on having so much room for improvement over last year. Moss flashed before getting hurt, Singletary showed promise his first year, and by media reports has been working hard this off season, does one of them break out or does Breida prove to be our best option in an otherwise underachieving position.
  5. I'm heading to the grocery store right after work to do my regular shopping. But after reading this thread I just added wings to the list. Already have a 12 pack of Blue Lite in the fridge.
  6. I'm 58 and my story isn't about me, but about my father and grandfather. My late dad use to tell the story of when him and my grandfather 'Hondo' as he was called used to go to the Bills games at the old Rockplie. Hondo was a wirey 5' 6" guy who was an incredably smart electrical engineer who loved his beer. Anyway my dad use to tell the story how he'd go pick up Hondo for the game, he'd come out hauling a Coleman cooler, mind you back in those days they were made of metal and the beers in it weren't aluminum cans. Anyways Hondo would haul it out to my dad's car and haul it into the stadium. As my dad would tell it, around the start of the 2nd quarter Hondo would nudge my dad and tell him to flag down the beer vendor when he came around. My dad would say, " Walter, why,you lugged that cooler in?" And Hondo would say, yea, but there all gone already. True story and always seemed to sum up a Bills fan.
  7. RIP Mr. Azar, many fond memories from back in the day. Thank you.
  8. Better than Barkley.
  9. Awesome! Well done!
  10. Very sorry for your loss, I hope you and the rest of your family can find peace during a time like this. I lost my Dad Dec 20th, and one of my favorite stories from him was when him and my grandfather would tote an old metal Coleman cooler to the Rockplie to watch the Bills play.
  11. Although Spielberg wrecked the movie, Ready Player One was a really good read, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Rush fan, it was really popular when it came out.
  12. He's old and hurt alot besides I heard he already signed with Arizona.
  13. BUF is also the first 3 letters in Buffalo, could be a cryptic message that he's still considering the Bills!
  14. Let's get the donations going then!
  15. Did the other JJ Watt thread get too saturated with the bleu cheese debate?
  16. Get well soon Kenny! Prayers to ya!
  17. Watts very active in his community and with his charities. I would not be surprised to see Bills Mafia rally donations to one of his causes to put a little pressure on signing with the best fanbase in the NFL.
  18. Can he sign with another team right away? Or does he have to wait for the new NFL fiscal year in March?
  19. You can never have too many DBs. Great idea for a post series Yolo!!!
