  1. One of my favorite restaurants. Only make it back to there a couple of times per year, but rght now I've got a serious craving for a beef on 'weck.
  2. OMG!!!!!! He can fart rainbow unicorns TOOOOOO! (Isn't he dreeeaaamy.)
  3. "Crystals of opaque quartz, studded limpid tears, Forming magic chandeliers, lighting blistered galleries." - Rick Wakeman
  4. Nope. He traded Bobby Chandler for Phil V.
  5. You !@#$ing moronic !@#$, the issue isn't whether they have the 'option' of healthy food. They are required to take 'healthy' items regardless of whether they will eat the !@#$ing healthy items. They aren't being forced to eat 'healthy;' they are being forced to take food they won't eat and are being limited in how much they can take of items they WILL eat. And some of those 'unhealthy' items they are limited in are things such as meat. And it is across the board, who can't take too much of an 'unhealthy' item. A lacrosse player, a swimmer, or a cross country runner can't exceed the lunch caloric intake just the same as a slacker WoW player. !@#$ing brilliant. Because clearly those athletes shouldn't exceed the same caloric intake that a couch potato such as yourself should exceed. (Apologies if you aren't a couch potato, but the fact that you think this is a worthy endeavor leads me to believe that you need somebody to protect yourself from the Doritos.)
  6. How the !@#$ do you figure that 'free food' and 'free energy' are available around the corner? Why the !@#$ don't you just want a time machine to gather the knowledge of people 1,000 years in the future? I mean if you don't think that's just around the corner, you must be arguing against technological progress. Right? !@#$ing idiot. (Sorry Tom)
  7. While she very well may not have a thorough knowledge of history, she isn't Joe Biden. This thread seems to be putting you on even footing with those that believe Mitt Romney really thinks airplane windows should open at 30,000 ft.
  8. Well, the Jays are the last 3 season WS defending champions and I honestly can't think of who the last 3 time defending champ was prior to them. (They get a pass for the 3rd year as the WS wasn't played in '94. )
  9. Well, kind of. If the Bills could become relevent in the next 20 or even 200 years, it would be like a blip of time to the time traveller. If it takes another 2,000-20,000 years for Ralph to finally pass the reins, that time traveller will age as well. But we'll have the advantage of being dead by the time the Bills are finally relevant again. (And we won't have to suffer through the extra 180-19,980 years to get there.)
  10. So how exactly is President Obama going to keep this program available for them? He's siphoning off $716B from Medicaid for Obamacare. Does he have another magic bullet like that one to keep SS alive?
  11. As Ned Flanders would say: okely-dokely.
  12. Perhaps. But you'd said she'd bought them for HER classroom. I was trying to find a reason why she'd bought 3 AC units for 1 room, shy of her being a moron. You might have just supplied the reason.
  13. How many !@#$ing AC units do you need for ONE room? She bought THREE? Please tell me there's more to this story than she being an imbecile.
  14. Bob Newhart George Carlin Rodney Dangerfield Newhart had the straight man down pat and w/ his 'phone calls' didn't even need a clown on the other end of the jokes. Carlin was a true master. Rodney just made me laugh. There's a lot of other guys (and a gal or 2) that are and were funny, but those were my top 3. (Steven Wright, Rita Rudner, Dennis Miller, Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, Alan Sherman, Mitch Hedberg, Robert Lee, John Panette, Carl Hurley, Chonda Pierce, James P Connolly are just a few others that are hilarious.)
  15. Video in post 1? Yes.
  16. It was one of my favorite movies from undergrad. A couple of others I liked back then haven't aged well at all, but 'Beer' is timeless. Unfortunately the movie's never been released to DVD.
  17. One of the greatest B movies ever! The commercial in the truck is classic as well. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ep7LN2Whv3Q
  18. If it be a old school Edison light bulb, I don't expect the tungsten nor the argon are going to get you into the schlitz. Now if it's flourescent, at least you were saving energy prior to releasing Hg into the environment, so I'm pretty sure AG will give you a pass.
  19. Thanks to all who showed up. Good times.
  20. So is anyone up for a meeting this Friday?
  21. Nah, he's just too humble to take the decision of whether he should be a 1 termer out of the hands of the American people. That wouldn't be right to take such an awesome responsibility from the people of this great nation. He is far too humble of a servant to make such a grand decision on his own. Should the American people decide that he was wrong, once again (for pretty much only the 2nd time ever and for the same reason), failing to communicate well enough to them, his only real failue - the inability to tell a good story properly; then he is willing to humbly do their bidding as the selfless public servant he truly is.
  22. He still might end up a 1 term president. He might not have gone back on that one.
  23. Sorry I'll be missing this one. Have a 2 hour lunch meeting that I can't get out of. If anyone is up for a reprisal next Friday before the home opener, let me know.
  24. As I recall, he'd been seriously undercapitalized since he'd bought the team. I'm not sure that he had the wherewithall to 'wait his turn.'
