Who cares? All that matters is whether he had the money to buy the team, and he did. And the issue was less about money than the NFL not wanting a) Trump to own a team and b) the threat of the Bills moving. And he didn't win the bid anyway because Pegula was always going to get the team once he entered the ring.
And going after Trump for overstating his assets to get a better loan from a bank is just stupid. It's up to the bank to asses the value of the assets and if they take him at his word, that's on them. Not that any of them complained. And the State is supposed to assess the value of assets for tax purposes. Which is why that verdict will get overturned.
