For those saying “this is what we voted for…”
Doc replied to stevestojan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
LOL! You don't want us to post a "This is what you voted for" with Biden and Harris clips. It wouldn't end well for you. What is authoritarian? O more precisely, more authoritarian than his predecessors? -
Ah. I was including the Knighthawks and Amerks.

Good thing you're paying attention. I (and others) have never made that strawman argument and instead have repeatedly said that what happened that day was an embarrassment and those who committed actual crimes deserved to be punished. The discussion was who was at fault for not providing adequate security, which we both believe could have prevented it. You think it was a conspiracy by Trump so that people would break into the Capitol even though he never once said for them to do it. I think it was at best a foolish concern over optics by Pelosi and Bowser and at worst that they wanted something to happen, but outside the Capitol. Hence the reason Pelosi took the blame for it in her daughter's video. And I will continue to say that "he made me do it/he lit the fuse" isn't a valid excuse for anyone to use or to blame a specific person. They were adults and their actions were their own. Finally, contact doesn't equal collusion. And there was zero evidence of any coordinated effort. You guys just couldn't accept that Hillary lost, to the likes of Trump no less, and accepted any excuse.

Isn't this their 3rd championship in a row?

As HC?

Yeah. Small consolation, but something I guess.

Just a side note, Belicheat tried to sign him in 2023.

True but there's a difference between predicting a player's potential for the NFL and analyzing his play after getting there. That being said, I hope they find an upgrade for him. But at least I want an upgrade at FS.

I'm an Independent. But the since there's only 2 choices come election time, I side with the GOP on most issues. -

This is the same guy who was accidentally added to the Signal chat but instead of informing them of it he went public. What a hack. -
That's what I've been saying for years. Get it back from the institutions who got it. And another lesson: government involvement always increases prices. Always. BTW, on a good note, my son will end up paying about $19K/year for law school, at a top-20 school no less. He got a $17K/year merit-based scholarship and when he went for accepted students day they told him to establish residency during his first year and then get in-state tuition for the remaining 2.

The Trump Justice Dept. is a joke! I’m so disappointed

It's amazing how much personal feelings can override logic. -
That's not what I was getting at. Just wondering if this leads to his dismissal.

I know they've been doing well the past 3 years at least, but good to see most of the Buffalo professional teams doing well.

I'd say her solo career was definitely pop. Not that there's anything wrong with it and I have very fond memories of "Stand Back" and her other hits.

Keep it up Dems. You're definitely changing peoples' already low opinion of you...

I like this video better.

That's amazing. Do they give Brind'Amour the boot?

You're not going to have anyone go to jail over JFK and MLK since they're all dead by now. And if it was the Government that had them assassinated, like every other Admin did in not releasing that info, there's nothing good that comes out of it. As for Epstein, I have no doubt a lot of rich and powerful people are implicated and I suspect that those investigating have been told that if they are outed, they/their families are dead. But with Trump being President, I have no idea why they'd lie about the assassination attempts on him. -
That's a pretty big ***** "security lapse," don't you think? Other things that feed the conspiracy is they had the bombers cell phone data but it was conveniently "corrupted," bomb sniffing dogs never detected the bombs, and, again, what was she doing at the DNC that morning when she had no business being there at all and why did they not reveal where she was for a year or so afterwards? The security lapses on J6 were multi-factorial and had little to do with Trump. I have no doubt that Pelosi and Bowser refused requests for more LEO's at least because of optics and that's why you see her taking blame for it on video. And again, "he made me do it" isn't a valid argument. And don't make me laugh about conspiracy theories. Russian collusion called...

The National Guard and more CP should have already been there. Ex-Capitol police chief Steven Sund stated that he requested their presence days in advance and was rebuffed. As for Harris, yes when they found the bombs at the DNC that were already there from the night before, she was evacuated. Again why was she there at the DNC HQ to begin with and why didn't they discover the bombs before taking her there?
