How was Josh able to finish the game with a concussion?
Doc replied to JakeFrommStateFarm's topic in The Stadium Wall
So...still not concussed. 👍 -
We're arguing semantics. To me overcoming is little different from surviving.
-
Yesah Dawkins was a (the only) good player but as you said he struggled that year. But his offensive weapons outside of Shady were terrible. And I’m not suggesting Maye will overcome it, but if he’s the real deal, he will barring major injury.
-
They were all in on Maye. Josh was thrown into a worse situation.

Yes, she'll cool waters immediately. Moron.

He made ~$1.2M total his first 2 seasons (2022 and 2023). He got a contract extension prior to this season that pays him an additional $1M in money this year and a $4.2M base salary next year with no real guaranteed money. If he has a monster season, that can be renegotiated.

No, it was dumb to think Biden could do better. I said as much all during the latter half of 2020. And I know why you believed otherwise. Your brain was pickled by the alphabet networks. -
Yep, it's your choice/decision to make. But again, it's a binary choice with one sure victor and not voting won't magically make a better candidate(s) appear. But it may not even make a difference given the state you live in. In mine, it doesn't.
-
This. The Patriots can't wait for a better OL to magically materialize. There's no guarantee they can sign a good OL in FA next year, much less draft one.
-
Sometimes teams get lucky with guys like that. Look at the Giants and Victor Cruz. If he keeps it up, it will be interesting to see what he gets next year since he will have 3 years in the NFL and want to get paid.

If you look up the symptoms of a concussion, Josh objectively exhibited none of them after he got up off the field and in the post game presser. Whether he subjectively had things like headache, nausea +/- vomiting, I don't know. Which is why I believe that taken with him moving while down meant he wasn't unconscious and the reason he was cleared and still hasn't been placed in concussions protocol. Thanks for the perspective. And as I've said before, if he'd been knocked out, there would have been more urgency by the training staff. And the Bills surely would have ruled him out for the game. Why some think the Bills suddenly don't care about their players is puzzling.

Why is Kamala crying about DeSantis not taking her phone call? As libs like to say when asked why she's doing nothing to help the country now and instead waiting for 4 months, "she's not the President." Did Joe call Christie during Sandy? We have been considering moving to the SE for years now. We are rethinking that for the reasons you mentioned.

Has any candidate every truly earned your vote and not taken you for granted?

Yeah, that's what happens with pandemics. They eventually burn themselves out after a few years anyway. If Biden meant "I'm gonna shut down the virus...after it has run through the population and the majority of people died, got the vaccine Trump sped-through or gained natural immunity," then yeah, he nailed it! And it doesn't matter what I think he should have done. It was a difficult situation for anyone and I've said it would have ravaged the US no matter who was in Office. My issue was giving excuses for one and not the other. -
I disagree that you can complain. And that voting for the lesser painful candidate isn't the right way to go. There is a choice of two and one of them is going to win. It's not like by not voting they both go away and you get who you want.

As many deaths under Biden's first 11 months as Trump's last 11 months. Even you can figure out that Biden screwed the pooch and didn't even come close to "shutting down the virus." If you weren't a partisan asshat, that is. -
Let them cope...

In general? No. The Bills? Yes.
