  1. I agree - it is a concern... and although Hamilton is easier for American fans I think Toronto wants the stadium within city limits not 40 miles away.
  2. I live in Boston and always listen to the Sports Hub (98.5) - wish Buffalo had a radio station like this... I never listen to WGR's sister station here anymore... Anyhow, I didn't hear them ever bash the Ralph (not saying they didn't) but I have heard them put down our location for being too difficult to get IN or OUT via traffic. Excuse me - but how how many roads lead to Gilette Stadium? Why do fans leave at the start of the fourth quarter in New England?? It's to beat the horific, one way in / one way out option called Foxhole. ps: Patriot Place is a joke - worst designed / set up ever.
  3. It's so nice we can always count on your positive input at all times.
  4. Buffalo is Best by MATTHEW PARRINO, The Spectrum
  5. Can't you just go to the game and not worry about the stadiumwall. It's not going anywhere.
  6. Can someone please explain where all those corporations are surrounding Green Bay? Jacksonville? New Orleans? Oh... thought so. The Bills brand and market is bigger than Buffalo - it's not going anywhere - settle down and go buy tickets and jerseys.
  7. Wonderful. Every year Toronto media try to make more out of this "series" than it really is... Last I heard, Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson is in no hurry to have his team play more than one annual regular-season game in Toronto.
  8. If you're going to post such a misleading topic title and posting - include the link and get it right! Half of Bills Home Games in Toronto?
  9. I live in Boston. Been here eight years too long. My friends and colleagues all know that I am a loyal Bills fan and Buffalo booster. They respect the fact that I am loyal and stand by my team. If someone gives me **** about my support - it says more about them (ignorance) and less about me. It's called respect and character. Go Bills.
  10. All the reasons stated above make sense... (economy, no marquee players, no play offs, blah blah blah) but I am curious - do the BILLS advertise in Western/Central NY and Southern Ontario? You might argue that the Bills already have a known presence, etc but... I was in Miami/Fort Lauderdale this past weekend and the Dolphins are advertising everywhere; even @ the beach they had planes pulling aerial advertisements pushing ticket sales.
  11. Although I prefer a downtown BUFFALO stadium; I'm not against a Niagara Falls Stadium. Our future in north of the border; not Rochester. However, there is no way in hell a stadium for the Bills will be built in or near the oldest state park in the country. When the time comes; build the stadium in downtown Buffalo.
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNdBfO3mJqY&feature=related LINK: Why we go...
  13. Beggars can't be choosers but... if we ever remodel Ralph Wilson Stadium - I really hope we don't go with the reno-route like the Kansas City Chiefs. And if we do - I hope we do a much better job with the design: Kansas City Chiefs - Stadium - 1 Kansas City Chiefs - Stadium - 2 Kansas City Chiefs - Stadium - 3 Kansas City Chiefs - Stadium - 4 But the architects who designed Kansas City's "retro" remodel (HOK/Populous) have done some pretty cool stuff: Helps Buffalo's fetish with cable stayed bridges - how about a cable stayed stadium? Another cool view I do think Paul Brown Stadium would like nice on our Waterfront
  14. Didn't see this posted so thought I'd share: Goodell also addressed the Rams' possible ownership change during his news conference saying the NFL is committed to staying in St. Louis and also said that the Bills, who have been targeted by the Majestic Group, would have to upgrade their stadium as well in the near future.
  15. Did you notice that Sun Life Financial is based in Toronto? Although sunny Miami makes sense - it's really too bad the Toronto Series didn't have a better presence. I could live with Ralph Wilson Stadium being renamed if it brought in $4million a year.
  16. Great concern here in New England about the fact that the team has yet to sell out the Ravens/Pats game this weekend in Foxhole. It will no doubt sell out but the fact that tickets are available at ticketmaster; and going for below face value on Craigslist has people and talk shows buzzing. Plenty of Patriots tickets available too
  17. Doesn't look like it's sold out - you can always check here: Ticketmaster
  18. Don't forget L.A. - Washington Post This guy supports the Bills in Buffalo! Are Jaguars Moving To Los Angeles?
  19. You're right. I've been listening online to wgr55 all morning and you're right. The title of this string should be changed.
  20. Funny, that's what Pat fans were saying about some guy name Tom Brady when he came in for the injured Bledsoe.
  21. Anyone else tired of these ridiculous "If the Bills leave..." type posts?
