  1. Seeing Tony Romo's improvement over previous years and the way Dallas's offense is producing - serious consideration should be given to interviewing Bill Callahan... http://www.dallascowboys.com/team/coaches/roster/bill-callahan Front-Runners for Assistant Coach Awards Gosselin: Cowboys made Bill Callahan a scapegoat, but they realize he's a key to their future DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant set Cowboys franchise records
  2. Biggest threat in division... just a QB away. Think we should go after Sam Bradford.
  3. Folks, down to three people in my survival pool. Here are my choices for this week... home v. away Bears v Vikings Browns v Texans Saints v Bengals Giants v 49ers Redskins v Bucs Panthers v Falcons Titans v Steelers Prefer to choose a home team... 4. thanks bud - saw that in a different thread - was hoping to find the real thing
  5. Struggling to find a video link from today's presser. Anyone come across one? Checked various Bills related websites, message boards, NFL dot com, and the local networks. Coming up empty. Apologize if its been posted and I overlooked. If anyone has a link - kindly send my way. Much appreciated.

  7. thanks for your help with this... went with GB - obviously happy with my choice.
  8. We have to have our picks in before tonight's game...
  9. So, there are only four other colleagues left in the league... and all four have one loss. (You can buy back into the league once after the first loss; which is great because they all had to and that built up the pot.) I have NO losses - and I'm trying to keep it that way. I do not anticipate this league lasting very much longer. Still thinking Green Bay! Anyone know which QB is playing tonight? Teddy? Ponder?
  10. Fellow Bills fans - need some help with this weeks Survivor Pool. 11. They advised that if I see what I want at the Bills Store website to order it there and it could be shipped and picked up at the Bills Store Sunday.
  12. Just checked out the new Bills store. It was the first time checking out the store and seeing the improvements around RWS. It's so hard to be negative given such a positive week but I am not impressed w the changes at the Stadium. Another $100M was needed to refurb the exterior of the stadium. Lipstick on a pig as it stands now. No way Pegula is going to dump additional dollars into this location after spending a record $1.4B for the team. With that said - went to pick up some new Bills stuff. I liked what I saw just wish they had Large and XL left in Bills jackets shirts etc. Inventory is very low in the store and they do not anticipate a shipment before Sunday! So plan accordingly...
  13. Agreed. Schoop has no clue or substance regarding sports. He is there to simply rock the boat and boost ratings. I used to really enjoy Bull Dog - he is great when he is not influenced or working with Schoop - because we all know; including Bull Dogg - you cannot have an intelligent conversation or anything indepth regarding sports because Schoop has no comprehension or clue. That's why he goes off callers - so easily - because he cannot be challenged. I would be ok with Sal and Bull Dog together. But you're right - a change is needed. I would be willing to bet - once Pegula takes over the Bills - we will see something like the Empire Sports Network come back... Pegula will not want to deal with the losers at Entercom. It amazes how poorly run Enterom is run in Buffalo; while in Boston - they are doing a great job.
  14. I have seen various comments and threads about Mallet. PLEASE NO. I am watching him right now against the Redskins - he looks pathetic!
  15. This approach might do more for the cause rather than the relentless number of new posts here on this message board questioning fans whether they will support the team when Bon Jovi secures it...
  16. Gotta know when to stop selling Kirbs... your relentless support of JBJ/MLSE raises too many flags about your creditability and motive.
  17. I laugh at people in WNY when they discuss traffic. Try living in a real city (like Boston, NYC, DC, and so on)... where people sit in real traffic every day. The city with a 20 minute commute does not know traffic.
  18. Talked with Bill Polian last week on SiriusXM NFL Kicks and asked Bill two questions: 1) Do you think the Bills will stay in WNY? His response: Bill said that the Bills will stay in WNY though the duration of its lease with Erie County but would not really comment beyond that... He did add: If the NFL even tries to move an existing team outside the United States - you can expect powerful politicians in Washington to begin sessions on pulling the NFL's tax exempt status. He said there is no chance that the NFL will fool around with that and that the Bills will likely stay put. 2) If the Bills stay, where should the Bills new stadium be? His response: Although Bill loves the sight lines at the Ralph - it's time to build new. He said Buffalo should build a new stadium anywhere north of Orchard Park and specifically mentioned the City of Buffalo or Niagara County. He mentioned that the stadium in its current location is stuck in a snow belt and that the new stadium must have a ROOF. Always interesting to get a national perspective on the Buffalo Bills. It's critical that Buffalo get this right. This is a huge decision and it is paramount that we get this located in the right area - with as little corruption and behind the scene deals where a select few benefit. This decision is bigger than Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz - he needs to keep his mouth shut regarding the existing location and let the true powers that be (new owner and Cuomo's hired experts) find the right solution. go bills!
  19. Important date to remember: November 4, 2014. Election Day. If the team is sold before this date - I would assume it is to a Buffalo friendly buyer. No way Cuomo will allow the team to be sold under his watch to a buyer with relocation intentions. NY State will come thru with the funds to construct a new stadium - mark my words. Cuomo can kiss any and all political aspirations from Albany to Washington, DC should this team get sold to any unfriendly Buffalo buyer.
  20. How is this even an issue? People who can afford to attend a Super Bowl or even an NFL game likely have a passport.
  21. SÃO PAULO - Arena Corinthians (65,234) - 2014 FIFA WC SingaporeGold Consortium Arena Pobeda
  22. Not a fan of Lucas Oil Stadium... at least from an exterior design perspective. It just screens rust belt. I seriouly want Buffalo to push the envelope on design and do something far more modern. I also believe we have no choice but to build a stadium with a dome; as the budget for a facility without a roof just doesn't make sense. You repilcate the Ralph and it will sit empty and unused more than 90% of the time. Buffalo needs a new convention center.. The Buffalo Bills will need a new stadium. It's time to marry the two and get it done; and done right. Who knows if Buffalo will ever host a Super Bowl. I personally do not care. But what I do hope we replicate from the Lucas Oil Stadium is the way they incorporated OTHER THINGS TO DO around the stadium. Indianapolis hit a home run when they hosted the Super Bowl and no doubt the city will host another one in the near future. But Buffalo needs to thing big - take advantage of its opportunities to help put this city back on the map. I know it will cost money - no matter how modern and cutting edge - but so will Lucas Oil Stadium. My only concern - how do we build something that has greater shelf life than those dome stadiums that have already been replaced within 20-30 years of life? Buffalo cannot afford to build a new stadium now and then 25 years later. So, the design will need be modern. clean lines, and tastfully done. Nice - but no thanks. I think Detroit when I see this: Go Big...
  23. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/can-buffalo-afford-a-new-stadium-for-bills-20140215 I know not much will happen on this front until we have a new owner; but it's important that we keep articles like this on the forefront and post comments on these articles in support of the Bills. Always seems like the naysayers come out in droves on the Buffalo News... Just my two cents...
