Iwas in the Charlotte / Cornelius area this weekend and took my daughter shopping at Harris Teeter. Holy Cow...The prices were out of sight. Now I know why they generally go to Food Lion. And It would be worth the price of gas to go to the WalMart a couple miles north of Cornelius. Yeah, the shrinkage issue at the grocery store sucks....Just wait until beer cans are 10 ounces, not 12...

There is no offside on a throw in... (on a ball directly received from the thrower) I had the same situation in a match I reffed this AM... No offside on goal kicks or corner kick either

The Turkish goalie was terrible on the goal scored by Croatia, then came up HUGE on the offside Free Kick. His save in the shootout sealed the deal...And he was the backup goalie as Turkey's primary goalie was booted for two matches. I am wondering how many players Turkey will have available when they play Germany. and did you notice how many security personnel ringed the pitch ? Were they expecting trouble in this particular match ???

Sept. 3 1975..Pre-Season game against the Browns. It was a night game and it was warm. OJ was in the middle of a big hold out and that put a damper on the game. We went with EdinKC and his wife. Bills won 28-10 and we had a lot of fun. Ed had to drive his car as mine had Ohio plates. Me and Mrs. Lew had come up from Marietta Ohio. First real season game was in 1981. A 21-14 victory over the Redskins. It was cold and windy. We went with a couple who were friends of Mrs. Lew from her days at Daemen College... Other than the cold, it was great
