I can't disagree. He is used to throwing say 35 times a game which he won't do with the Vikings, so he has to get used to that. I feel the OL didn't protect as well as they should have but it is just the first game of the season. I think he will do fine and the Vikes contend for the superbowl this year.

I disagree. He did as he was asked to do which shows me his willingness to be a team player and not have it be about him. That said, who knows what would have happened without AD? Maybe he puts up 400 and 5 TD's? Bottom line, there are folks that just don't like Favre and that is fine, but give the man credit where it's due.

The entire Panthers organization. Took up too much room with keeping Peppers because they asked too much for them. When losing Makke (their Huge DT) they had no room to get help. Fired their DC and hired Ron Meeks to bring in the Tampa 2.... Extended Jake Delhomme... Richardson boots both his sons from the franchise.... We are seeing a total collapse of a franchise in one offseason.

I see this as a 6-10 team which will be 4 straight losing seasons and even a regression. If Jauron is back I know I am done with this team till Ralph is gone.

Thoughts: Carolina sucks. They screwed the pooch extending Delhomme and tying up all that money in Peppers. The Jets D is going to be amazing this year. Denver wins on a hail mary? Come on.... AD is the best damn back in years! Kid went off today.

We all talk about players we need but to me (in addition to QB) we haven't had a really good TE since McKeller or Metz. Jay R was ok, but not the impact the other two were. I remember in a playoff game against Oakland at home (1993?) metz was going for a football in the endzone and just destroyed one of his fingers. It was a pretty gross injury.
