  1. Christopher Nolan's association with Michael Caine is pretty obvious, but it's interesting to see how he uses a lot of actors in many of his movies. First it was Christian Bale and now Ken Watanabe and Cillian Murphy. If I was an actor, I would want to be cast in one of his movies because I would be set for life. This month looks pretty solid. I'm not sure I'll see any in theaters (I still haven't made it to Toy Story 3), but I'm very curious about a couple of these. Inception obviously tops the list. For some reason, Despicable Me looks like one that could be some fun. Then there are a few that I'm sure I'll catch on basic cable down the line. I'm kind of curious to see just how bad Predators will be. The Rudd-Carrell combo should be enough for me to watch Dinner for Schmucks when TBS starts airing it constantly in about 3 years.
  2. We're talking about the same country where coffee cups have to have a "warning: coffee may be hot" message. I'm sure she'll win some money.
  3. Sweet, I get to be Venkman.
  4. I brought it up simply because it is what I work with, so it was the first example that came to mind.
  5. Ray, when someone asks you if you're a god, you say yes!
  6. It's not that simple. The idea is that these types of injuries put you at risk of developing that type of condition. Even if it is a risk factor, it is no guarantee. All obese people don't wind up developing diabetes and all smokers don't suffer some sort of cardiovascular disease, but those are definitely risk factors for those conditions. It wouldn't have to be the majority of players developing those symptoms, just a significantly higher rate than the normal population.
  7. I wonder how many people even know which company is putting out these movies anymore. There are so many animated films coming out now, I know I don't have a clue who is making half of them.
  8. It's not just about the pros. What about the kids playing football in high school and even the years before that? Do the recognize or even understand the risks?
  9. I like Felser, but I'm not convinced he even has a pulse anymore.
  10. I am a big Batman fan and I have a hard time thinking that anyone like that wouldn't enjoy the game. There's so many references scattered throughout that could keep a fan busy for days.
  11. So basically, the people who don't really matter anyway? That and most women have probably slept with him anyway.
  12. So much fun. You could do so many different versions of those psychologica attacks Batman would do like randomly dropping down from the ceiling and hanging a guy upside down by his feet. Half the time you could randomly luck your way into some crazy move like that.
  13. How could I forget that I also have Batman: Arkham Asylum? That game was absolutely amazing. I'm not big on all these accomplishments/trophies they've been adding to games now, but that was the first one where I ever got all of them.
  14. I knew I forgot one. Not enough trips to the gay steel mill, I guess.
  15. Something named Lance potentially being a deciding factor in a manliness ranking. Too funny. Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer complains about gay people taking all of our toughest names like Bruce and Lance.
  16. I don't think anyone actually hates Tiger. They'll make plenty of jokes, but that's a far different thing from hatred. He was getting some decent reactions this past weekend.
  17. Morbo wishes these stalwart nomads peace among the Dutch tulips.
  18. And hopefully Ennis can take it next year. We already had back-to-back AHL rookies of the year in Gerbe and Ennis, so why not get 2 at the NHL level now.
  19. I'll have to read those later, I just don't have the time right now. The trend looks pretty obvious from the numbers though. Now we just need to see if it can last longer than 3 years.
  20. It looks like the drop has leveled off in the last couple years though. That could be the start of a trend.
  21. Doesn't the phrase "shrinking AGAIN" imply that it actually stopped shrinking at one point?
  22. All I can think as I have just started to read this is that I can't wait to get to the reader comments at the end. Edit: I was wrong.
  23. I meant they're both first person shooters, but yeah, pretty different games in the big picture. Oh, and how could I forget that I also have Metal Gear Solid 4? That game is an absolute must if you were big on that series. You might want to stay away from it though if you haven't played any of the others. I'd have to image it would be ridiculously confusing.
  24. Here is what I have. -Tiger Woods, NHL, and Madden: I'm not even sure what year they are, but those are always fun to randomly break out -Modern Warfare 2: exists soley for the multiplayer, can be ridiculously fun or ridiculously tedious depending on when you play -Final Fantasy XIII: decent if you liked those games in the past -Ghostbusters: if you liked these movies, you'll enjoy this game. you can probably get it pretty cheap now too -Red Dead Redemption: haven't had the chance to start it yet -GTA4: always a safe bet -Borderlands: pretty similar to Modern Warfare, but you can do co-op stuff online instead. very fun game And if anyone wants to, my username on PS3 is shrader5. I'd rather listen to a Buffalo fan on Modern Warfare instead of those trash talking 6 year olds.
  25. Why is Alex Van Pelt even on this list? He's an 8th round pick that we added as a free agent. I can't call that a failure at all. He doesn't fit in with the rest of this list as he was never brought in to be the guy.
