  1. Two very solid players to date. Can't have that..............
  2. Ah 64, 65. Tom Sestak was an absolute beast. The defense was top shelf. Offense, not so much but Cookie could run over, around, and thru almost anyone. Amazing talent Cookie was.
  3. ....and then again the "new" regime may takes us back to a 3-4 and he can become our Bryce Paup, with athleticism and speed. Point is, he's unknown at this point. If he shows no improvement next year, then begin the countdown to his execution. year three, he's either a player or cut him.....if the Bills can afford to.
  4. He has as a bill, it's just those "once in a while" moments are too far and few between.
  5. Maybe not, but that's because they're a publicly held team. Now Ted Thompson (GB-GM) doesn't seem to have many fans either.....
  6. This place has poorer memory than an old Commodore 64. After the KC game last year, McKelvin was the seond coming of Christ after a pair of picks in a Bill blowout win. Couple that with being a top KR in the league last year. No, McKelvin had a couple bad fumbles against the Pats in the opener, but he showed a lot of talent both as a return guy and as a CB. I agree that gouping McKelvin with Whitner is beyond a reach. Maybin, and I agree. Who the heck knows what kind of player he is or could be. One thing was for sure. As a one year starter for Penn St, he came here very raw. He could take a year or two to be ready for a real test of his ability.
  7. Wow, Abe Lincoln wouldn't have sufficed?
  8. Ralph can't say it, but someone should let Fewell know he won't get the nod, and to start playing a few of the younger guys.
  9. Poor coaching I believe.......
  10. That would date you? How about watching KC beat Buffalo for the 1966 AFL Title?
  11. A bit of knowledge, common sense, and logic. We'll have none of that here!
  12. While many were interested in seeing Brohm get some PT, "putting someone in that actually could give us a chance to win", is quite a reach. After all, Brohm has only accomplished......well.....nothing to date in the NFL.
  13. Mods.....please delete the above post....along with this one. Jeez.....
  14. What needs to be blown up first however, is the brass. A GM, HC, coordinators.....then weed out the non-performers, like Chambers, Whitner, Kelsay, Jonathon Scott, etc, etc.
  15. Ah, loved the old Tecmo Super Bowl..... and while I do agree Incognito showed more push in the running game than I've seen from a Bills O-Lineman is some time, his pass pro was as advertised, mediocre to poor. Far too inconsistent in PB.
  16. I'll second the motion......
  17. The Bills do have responsibility for their actions, yet when your DE darned near gets horse collared aon a key third down play, when the whole world (even old Dan Dierdorf himself) see it except the guy (ref) who is paid to watch for stuff like that. Yeah, I do believe in unwritten practices and marginal teams will never get the calls.
  18. Careful, he might revert to the JP saga next....
  19. JayBaller, you've managed to create an argument when there wasn't one. No one anointed Trent God. The point was Trent wasn't given to time to even back peddle, just as Fitz was given none for a number of series as well. That, Mr. fabricator, was a fact and it remains that our O-line made Banta-Boo-Boo look like the second coming of Bruce Smith. Calling others an apologist merely shouts out that you have written a check your ass can't cash. You haven't the logic or knowledge to hold a legitimate discussion.
  20. He can be judged for poor clock management, which has has been guilty of in multiple games, and his refusal to play Maybin, Harris, etc., as if he believes that a few wins and he has a legitimate shot at the HC job next year. He is knee deep in responsibility for our Tampa 2, no run defense "defense". This team needs a real HC, who can manage a game, the clock, and get players to play with discipline. Enough already with the false start penalties, for example the next guy who gets flagged for a false start will be summarily shot......
  21. Fitz got replaced (for a series only as it turned out) because he simply wasn't making a single play of his own. Save for the opening drive, of which was on the ground, our offense was literally quite offensive. His best plays and throws were after he had his ankle tweeked (hummm....maybe we're on the something here).
