Wow, the guy plays one game at Guard after always being a Tackle and away he goes. Something tells me we'll see him back at RT as someone with the athletic ability of Peters belongs on the left side anyway.

Let see, 1968 (1-13), or from 1976 thru 79, or how about those beautiful 2 win teams under Kay Stephenson in consecutive years in the mid 80's (84-85?).......The only team in recent memory as futile as those teams were was the our 2001 edition under Greg, "Man Boobs" Williams...... 1968 was so bad, we finished with Ed Rutkowski as our QB.............. Kemp went down, followed by Flores, followed by Kay Stephenson, then the infamous, Dan Darraugh, go Eddie go.....

I'm certainly no Holcomb fan, particularly after the 4th & 7, 2 yard pass of two weeks ago, yet the inconsistency of the "O" under JP still bothers me. One decent throw (a bit under thrown, and one great throw for TD's, but the rest was still bothersome to watch. Also, I'm more than tired of Clement's attempt at dink and dunk with an O-Line that simply does not get out in front of any of them. Yet, I saw KC do it successfully more than once today.

That's why teams backload contracts. On paper, it's not a cut in pay, but the reality is that a player will never see the last year or two of their contracts.

I do recall one pass play early in the game (late 1st quarter or early 2nd) where Sam began his rush with the usual double team, only this time when the second Patsie engaged him, he was knocked flat on his rather large posterior. Note that they moved Sam from being next to Shobel (last year) to lining up beside Kelsay/Denny. Sam misses Phat Pat.

Unfortunately, that option is only open to those in range of the radio broadcast, many of us here, maybe most, do not have that available to us. Not since the "No Fun League" decided that even the radio broadcasts had to go on a "pay for" basis (internet)....

I'd say the blocking was solid, not necessarily great, but I agree with the throw being off target. A solid throw and it's a score.

Well I sent them a few lines of disgust over how they dared to have a an actual NFL football game as the backdrop for the Teddy Bruschi Show. How distracting when all I wanted was to hear and see Mr. Bruschi's life story.

ESPN coverage is horrible. Announcers and little Miss Suzie who won't shutup.....you're right. That really sucked.

The ball was bobbled, and he did not make any football moves with it. The ball did hit the ground before he wrapped it up. I saw it, 10 times already.... That was not a catch and had that been our guy, it would have been ruled incomplete. But the officials weren't done, the bull crap PI call on Mould finished their input, yet Holcomb still had one more chance on........and........

OK, Gandy blocked won leaving Colvin free and Anderson simply was far too slow to be able to get back on Colvin... Protection scheme there was partly at fault. No way Anderson (or a number of other guards) make that pickup. Colvin was way too quick for Anderson to be able to make the play. Benny simply cannot move....that was clear all night long and even on the successfull screen he pulled out on.... Have to admit, Benny sucks. Gandy took his guy completely out. Stoned him.

Christ, it seems he's copied Paul Hackett's strategy and calls...Look what that did for Hackett (finally....fired). Even Pendry for Carolina calls a better game.

looking back on that play, it looked like the Bills RB (Shaud?) was just coming open past Bruschi on a delay. Hold one second longer and he was there for the play and first. Holcomb sucks.
