Shaq is in his 20s 🤷♂️

Whatever you took to ease the pain from last night I think you took a bit too much.

Shaq Lawson at $1.3M is a good value for our DE4 spot

It's been a while since me and Bease have seen eye to eye on anything, but I agree with what he is saying here about Gabe. He's best off on the Free Agent market, but I have a feeling the team will miss him. AND I hate the fact that fans were classless enough to heckle Davis and any of our own players after that game.

Titans to hire Bengals OC Brian Callahan as new HC
DrDawkinstein replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Between Burrow around 55, Chase in the high 20s, and Higgins in the low/mid 20s, they'd have $100M tied up between 3 players. The Modern NFL! -

Good to see Isabella coming back too. -
The Three Plays that Cost us the Game
DrDawkinstein replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Crazy not a single Defensive play was mentioned by OP. Such as the absolutely BLOWN coverage on Kelce's TD where Poyer for some reason decided to jump the underneath route and let Kelce run right by him since the Chiefs never throw to Kelce anyways. -

Considering this season as a whole…
DrDawkinstein replied to Don Otreply's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen, like Mahomes and Brady, is a good enough QB to get you a shot at making the Divisional round every year on his own. The main difference is the other two QBs were also complimented by a Head Coach who can take a team over the next hump from the Divisional round to a Super Bowl victory. The Bills do not have that guy wearing a headset right now. -
We should absolutely look to see who else is out there and not just hand him the job, but I dont see many better candidates jumping off the screen, and I also don't knock Brady for some of the issues that come with inheriting a flawed system from an incompetent OC. I also agree with Rousseau that McD is a good Defensive Coordinator and would do well working under a true Head Coach.

If all of those WRs go before our pick, and Cooper DeJean is sitting there, then DeJean is absolutely our best pick. And I dont want a DB in the 1st. But reality is reality. Go DeJean and then WRs in the 2nd and 4th.
-
Look up the drafts on Wikipedia and see the WRs selected recently in rounds 1 and 2. If a WR is taken top 10 (certainly top 5) then they usually produce well right away. But once you get into that #15-#50 range, it's far more hit or miss (with a lot of misses). For every star WR you remember, there are a couple picked right after him that are like "oh yeah, who is that guy again?"
-
Watch tape of Cooper DeJean to see a player who McD would cream his jeans to get. Unfortunately, now that we've landed at 28, DeJean will likely be long gone by then. And I cant justify a trade up for a Safety. But that kid would completely transform our Defense. He's a Troy Polamalu, doesnt have a real position just let him run wild, type player.

Tom Brady: Round 6 Pick 199 Cmon. We can find ONE guy at almost any draft spot over the history of the NFL.
-
I believe Rousseau is capable of that. We'll see if it pans out. Folks also have to remember, this is the talent we get picking so late in the 1st. We have to be lucky to strike gold, otherwise the player would already have been picked in the top 10. Rousseau is a good all-around player drafted 30th overall.

I'm not sure how this ties to our WR situation as there werent any WRs we passed on with those picks. The missed pick was Basham over Creed Humphrey. Unless you are saying we could have already moved on from Morse and used that money to sign better WRs. But we didnt have any problem throwing money at WR this year with the Harty and Sherfield signings. So I'm confused on the details here.

He'll do well in FA. Much better than he'd do with the Bills offer. He is this year's Edmunds. Good for him. I hope he goes and gets paid well somewhere else. Moving on.

Because there was no plan. McD himself didnt know whether he wanted to score a TD, get a 1st down, or what. So he did the typical soft, loser thing and played for a tie.
