    The funniest part of all this is: While Jerry is working to finalize this hire, he's also watching Dan Quinn, his recent DC as HC of the Commanders and Kellen Moore, his former OC as OC of the Eagles (BOTH Divisional Rivals) in the NFC Championship game. Must. Be. Fuming.

    Ego. Him spending money is still a power position. HE pays the players. He's loyal to coaches... who dont question him. A top coach would want way more control than Jerry is willing to hand over. Well played.

    I'd question that because I was there in the 90s when the Refs used to throw flags on the crowd at Rich Stadium for being too loud. Even had equipment on the sidelines to measure the dBs and would penalize us once we went over the loudness of a jet engine. Havent seen anything like that since.

    Maybe in a different year with a different draft class. But this is a DL-heavy draft, similar to WR last year. We should be able to get a DE, 1DT, and even a 3DT out of it. Not worth overpaying another old guy.

    Ball spins the other way and takes different angles, and can be weird to catch if you arent used to it.

    Agreed with a lot of the first paragraph. But Philly is a real bad match up for us. They're similar but better than the version of the Ravens we got in week 4 this year. I worry more about that match up than the Chiefs. But gotta get through Arrowhead first.

    Agreed in general, but there will be no culture shift no matter who they hire while Woody and Brick are still in the building.

    I'm actively trying to fight these feelings because whenever I get this confident we usually get let down horribly. But dang it, it really feels like these guys could do it.

    The Falcons did it right when they opened the new Mercedes Benz Stadium a few years ago. No reason the Bills and other teams couldnt do this.

    Call me crazy but I think something like an Eye in the Sky calling EVERYTHING to the strict letter of the rule would completely ruin the game. It's a game of chaos. Humans smashing into other humans with reckless abandon. I think we've seen plenty of examples of over-officious jerks making games unwatchable by throwing flags. Just let them play.

    Saw this band get boo'ed offstage at Aerosmith @ Darien Lake 1993 But the song makes a great appearance in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, so I'm fine with it.

    Yep. McD even says in this clip "welcome to my team meetings", so this is hardly the first time Josh has messed with him. I bet it happens all the time. Must be so fun to be in that building nowadays.
