"Some league sources believe an incident involving a teammate may have factored in-part into the Raiders' fatigue and release of defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, beyond the management of his foot injury..." Cant stop twistin d!@ks

To this, I give the Titans the same salute their classy owner Bud Adams gave Bills fans back in '09 (and was fined $250k for)....

Training camp day 3 st john fisher college
DrDawkinstein replied to scuba guy's topic in The Stadium Wall
He seems to have a better handle on his human missile BS and is at least not taking out our own players anymore. Could use a little better technique tho. A couple of those personal fouls stop us from getting off the field. -
Bengals bungling things up - new rookie contract clause

It's over. Bengals got the languange in, and Shemar got more money. On to the Hendrickson holdout... -
Wanna buy Shaq Thompson's house?
DrDawkinstein replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall
He's planning on building something similar in Lovejoy. -
He got cut from the Raiders because he physically cant play. So Im not that worried about where he ends up. Might be a concern in 2026. But by then he'll be old, out of shape, and washed.

Not much news coming out of camps today. Justin Fields back at practice. Eagles DT Jordan Davis showed up to camp 26 lbs lighter. Noah Fant visiting Saints today after meeting wtih Bengals yesterday.

Wanna buy Shaq Thompson's house?
DrDawkinstein replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Ah neat, thanks for the inside info. I wasnt thinking too much less than your $3M estimate, just that it would be the top end. Even so, still puts us just under a $5M initial investment. Not the $10M+ he's asking for today. Good stuff. Thanks! Agreed. @boyst would only be able to fit like 4 cows in there. -

Yeah, and a $3M build price is probably high too if he got in before COVID -

He's selling that peasant house. His sugar mama already has like 3 or 4 expensive properties up and down the coast. Also, this doesnt tell us what Shaq paid for it, just what they are asking for it now. Built in 2020, I'm guessing he paid like $5M for it. -
Yep, exactly what I was getting at. It would require Josh's approval, I'd love to know what his real answer is.
-
I dont think Josh is petty, and I believe he's willing to do what's best for the team, but that might be a hard sell to the face of our franchise. I dont know. Depends on how personally he takes those cheap physical attacks. I know I would have a tough time bringing that guy into the locker room if I were Josh. But who knows. Players have very different perspectives and relationships than us fans.
-
I mean, thats way better than what theyve had for the last 15 years or so. And I think a lot of Bills fans would have taken that during the heart of the drought. None of those QBs are long term options, but if they got one and managed to sneak into a Wildcard spot just once, it would certainly rejuvenate the fan base. And then you tank when that guys contract is up and hope to nail a QB with an early pick. But I dont even see any of that happening as long as Woody and Brick are in charge.

I'm way more concerned with Vrabel out-coaching us and pulling a fast one on McD to squeak out a last minute FG and win by 1-2points than I am worried about their talent on the field. But to that point, our guys better be ready to play when we face NE because Vrabel will have his guys ready for a physical game.

@nuklz2594 is busy working up his new James Cook thread for this morning

Not really, but feel free to post any tweet or article for something else to discuss! This and the Justin Fields toe injury kinda dominated the internet yesterday. Let's see what today brings!
-
Right, right. I was just saying that with the personalities on both sides, it could be anything. Looks like the Raiders are playing it as him refusing to get the surgery they want. There is the boot thing. I think they had another video of him dancing in the locker room or training room while he's supposed to be immobile. Will be interesting to see this play out.

Was just reading up on the whole Wilkins saga, and turns out he was originally injured by one of his own teammates as they were celebrating and the teammate jumped up and then landed on Wilkins foot. VERY Raiders here. Love every minute cause it aint us (anymore). Another point on Raiders doing this: NFLPA is at an all time weakest right now with no leadership. Any other year and maybe Wilkins gets traded or Raiders even eat it. But it'll be interesting if FOs smell blood in the water and start taking advantage of an NFLPA in shambles.
-
Oh absolutely. I cant wait to see what dirt the Raiders air on him
-
That's all off-field, non-football stuff. ***** around with your Football stuff will get you cut and money taken. Cant wait to see all the details aired.
-
Could also be Wilkins is a lazy POS. With these two sides its impossible to tell.
-
It would be nice if any team in that division stepped up and gave the Chiefs a run for their money. Even just play them hard, get a 1-1 split and maybe injure a couple of their players in a hard fought game.
-
"Due to how Wilkins treated the rehab from his foot injury he suffered last season, the Raiders voided the remaining $35.2 million of guaranteed money left on Wilkins contract last month and today, Wilkins filed a grievance with the NFLPA." Interesting.

Figured we could use 1 thread to post stuff happening at camps for other teams. Also because I wanted to post this and didn't know where else, and while entertaining, probably doesnt need its own stand alone thread Chase laughing so hard had me cracking up too
