The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
DrDawkinstein replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even before COVID, the move back in 2010 to requiring passports to get over was the first nail in the coffin and knocked it down a few pegs as it was. -
You fly to Europe overnight so you can sleep on the plane, then when you land during the day you go right into it, have a regular day and then get to bed at the new normal time. Makes for a quicker adjustment. Take off at midnight for a 6 hour flight. Get 6 hours of sleep like a night's sleep. Land at 6am old time/Noon new time. Have a normal day then get to sleep.

What's On Your Menu For The Jags Game In London?
DrDawkinstein replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Did the board correct a bad word to "cat" and you are just oversharing? -
Crazy what shoring up the interior will do to help those Tackles that are out on islands. Now granted, Brown is getting a lot of help from TEs and RBs and even bringing in a 6th OL. But even when it's just the base 5 OL, the OTs are playing better than ever before.

Same energy as the last few years?
DrDawkinstein replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait until we lose one and come back and it will cycle the other way as well -
From what I've heard this week, the Jags are at a bit of a disadvantage because they are staying in England. And that is another week away from their own beds, away from their families, away from their routines, away from the state of the art training and medical facilities they normally go to. Kind of a miserable (make the best of it) type of experience for them. One former player said that by the time they get to our game on Sunday most of the Jags will be thinking "When can we get this game over and get on the plane home?" Hoping that helps us out.

The friggin Jags. Feels like its been DECADES of dealing with this crap team and getting burnt way too many times. Time to exorcise those demons and dominate. Hoping to see the same Bills team from the last 3 weeks and not the one that somehow always plays down to the Jags. Want to see a big day out of OUR Josh Allen, and not hear about THEIR Josh Allen for once.

That's why I stick with classics for jerseys. Steve Tasker, Kyle Williams, etc. Can't jinx the player if theyre already retired!

OH MY GOSH, thanks for catching that. Wow. Pushed them around like our little brothers.

Can we please use groot like parsons and Garrett?
DrDawkinstein replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. We're going to rotate guys anyways. Might as well throw in some new looks and wrinkles in certain situations to give the opponent even more to think about. Is the opposite of the all DE "NASCAR" line: Oliver/Jones/Ford/Jonathan? -
Well when you look at Jalen Phillips over Greg Rousseau, you sure aint wrong!

Was waiting for this thread to get bumped today since it seemed like we got off that schneid yesterday

Most underrated play and favorite sequence of the game

Eh, give that 2014 team Josh Allen and we're making a run at the Super Bowl too. That was a Beane>Grier post

Imagine trading a 1st round pick and signing Bradley Chubb to 5/$110M, and then the Bills go out and sign Leonard Floyd in FA for $7M. Life is good.

I get that during the season NFL coverage is largely (over)reactionary and bombastic since it is all really just marketing for the NFL. But I cannot believe how deep folks, who should all know better, fully bought into the Dolphins as a team that was regularly going to score 40+, 50+ points a game. In the NFL! Like, WTF are they thinking. Anyone with half a functioning brain saw that Denver game and could clearly see the Broncos lay down and stop tackling. It blows my mind that people who have been around football for decades are somehow surprised the Dolphins came back down to Earth (and got buried in it). I guess folks just love South Beach, and any possibility of going there to cover the team.

An open letter to the Jordan Poyer doubters
DrDawkinstein replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I love Taron, but I'd think of it as more of a Heavy Nickel. Not that Taron can't handle it, but spreading some snaps around might be a smart idea with the way guys were getting dinged. -
Don't have one and in fairness, they have been purposely tight-lipped about his actually status, so I may have been a bit too strong in my statements. But I remember that "expiring contract" talk as well, and it was debunked, at least at the time... edit: here's another link: https://www.wxxinews.org/local-news/2023-02-28/bills-dc-frazier-taking-a-year-off-plans-to-return-in-2024
