  1. With the memories stored in Rich Stadium, it's inevitable that I don't miss that place. But I dont think it will be due to any failing of the new stadium. Just the great times in the old spot.
  2. Being the last team with the ball before halftime and scoring anything, even a field goal, is the way good teams win games. Classic Patriots. Happy to see the Bills start doing it too.
  3. Great points. I'd also add that between Josh's deep ball ability and running ability, teams play us differently. They keep Safeties deep to prevent the deep plays, and that allows them to keep the catches in front of them and come up and make the tackle. Also, teams keep an LB around to spy on Josh, so you get an extra tackler roaming around the short middle. Free to slide to where the ball is going and help make the tackle. All in all, not a problem.
  4. There is no such thing as running up the score in the Pros or even college. If the players dont like it, dont let them score. And in college, they need style points for rankings so they gotta do what they gotta do. Yep. The way I explain it is: In Buffalo, when its cold and snowing, BOTH teams have to play in the cold and snow. In Miami, only one team gets the sun. It's unfair.
  5. It can not be overstated just how poor Denver's defense played yesterday. Sure, Miami is fast and talented, but that score was way more on the Broncos laying down than on Miami achieving anything. Denver gave up 3 big plays - 54yd TD Pass to Hill, and then in garbage time a 68yd TD Pass to Chosen, and 67yd TD Run by Achane. All with a LOT of missed and broken tackles. That's 21 points and 189 yds. If Denver doesnt completely roll over like a sad sack of garbage, they lose by a more normal score of 49-20 and Miami has 540 yds. Still a blowout, but more inline with the Bills and Chiefs results. Miami is a good team, right up there with the Bills and Chiefs, no doubt. But they arent twice as good, and we shouldnt be scared of them. I think they could score 31 and we could win with 34, but I 100% get what you're saying.
  6. 10 numbers to be exact.
  7. I voted 21-30 points, but I could really see this game "fooling" everyone and end up being a 17-14 slugfest. What's the O/U for point total set at?
  8. Big week for McD to build on and keep it going.
  9. 3rd down, sure. But both plays in discussion were on 4th down. 4th down you line up and push for 2 feet. Especially if you want to take a deep shot on 3rd and short. You do that only if you know you are going for it on 4th with a sneak.
  10. Well, he plays for the Bears. You could say that about practically anyone on the roster. They have a much bigger issue than individual performance over there. I'm sure he's happy to have all that money, but I guarantee he has second guessed it at least once or twice over the last couple of months. Especially if this bad team brings him down far enough that he doesnt get another contract after the Bears cut him in a few years. It's certainly an interesting situation and case study to watch.
  11. Try using the twitter.com url instead of x.com edit: Looks like you got it figured out.
  12. Little mini Bernard made the play in his 3rd game that I waited 5 years to see out of Edmunds...
  13. We should ABSOLUTELY NOT be taking tips from the Raiders. That was an act of desperation by a loser team. Truly dominant, winning teams dont need to do that stuff. Just line up and gain the 2 feet we need.
  14. Do what we normally do. Yesterday is not the norm for Miami. That was MOSTLY on the fact that the Broncos simply stopped tackling. 350 yards ON THE GROUND?!? Disgusting and pathetic, Denver. Same Dolphins: Dolphins 36 Chargers 34 Dolphins 24 Patriots 17 Just do our thing. This is the real story line from that game yesterday. It's far more a failing of the Broncos than it is any type of dominance by Miami. Any offense will put up 70 when the Defense stops trying to tackle.
  15. Great to see it against the Raiders and Commanders. Now we have to see it against the good offenses. Big test next week for our DC/HC.
  16. Bro, this is human nature going back to caveman days. At what point in human history did we not love judging and persecuting people?
  17. We cant control the lives our threads choose to live. All we can do is give them a good start and let them journey out into the world on their own.
  18. I watch Bills tape while banging. True fan.
  19. Where can I return this Kirksey jersey?
  20. So no FBI involvement at all it seems. Coach just quit 2 weeks in. At least it wasnt at halftime of a real game.
  21. Feds usually dont leak like the locals do. If the FBI is truly involved here, it's going to be quiet, but then go 0-100 real quick.
  22. Real question: Coaches on the sideline celebrate and fist pump and jump around, and also yell and throw headsets and slam their playcards, and no one says anything and it all looks perfectly normal. How much does being trapped and contained in that small booth, with a camera right in his face, make this look "worse" than it truly is? Sideline coaches react big all the time. No one calls them not emotionally controlled enough to be a coach. I put "worse" in quotes because none of this is a big deal IMO, nor is he even getting any criticism for it outside of this board, and the players like it.
  23. You aint kiddin. Shots fired.
  24. Good! After 20+ years of complete irrelevancy, there is a big part of me that gets warmth and satisfaction from having our small market team in such the spotlight. As an out-of-towner it's great seeing so much of the team. Josh, Stef, or Bills Mafia is featured in practically every-other national commercial. People not only know who our coaches are, but are following them for their quirky reactions, turning them into popular gifs. I turn on the Spittin Chiclets hockey podcast yesterday to hear about the Mike Babcock controversy, and the former NHLers spend the first 5-10 minutes talking BILLS and BUFFALO. BILLS BILLS BILLS EVERYWHERE (now we just need that championship, but it's nice to at least be relevant again)
