  1. First off, "Kelce". Second, it was absolutely improvised. Kelce talks about it all the time on his podcast, about wanting to throw laterals and how it pisses off Reid in practice. Mahomes also confirmed post game that it was an improvised lateral. It isnt even Kelce's first lateral this season, but normally he does more of a hand off to a guy right near him. Nothing this drastic. To the bold, yes, Toney is exactly the type of player to not run down field to help block and instead stand there and watch. He's horrible.
  2. If we're going to make Brady our OC then we better be ready to make him a HC since any OC that has a bit of success will be on the next short list of HC candidates. And if we're going to sit on a carousel of OCs with McDefense at the helm, it's unlikely we never get anything going. For the crowd that is scared to fire McD because of what that turn over might mean and having to re-build, get ready for the same thing with OCs constantly leaving. Promote Brady to OC, and if it works out next year, be ready to promote him to HC. Such is the modern NFL.
  3. Ah, I missed the 2020 game when I was looking through the schedules!
  4. Oh absolutely. All of this is on Toney. Not surprising as he may be the dumbest person in the NFL right now.
  5. Usually the former. It's not the refs job to tell them they have an illegal formation, but the refs will help them be on the line instead of Offside.
  6. I believe we're even 4/4 in the regular season going back to McD beating them with Tyrod in 2017.
  7. Minus a fluke mistake by a WR, not sure McD has figured anything out on late-game defense with the results of that play. But sure, I can appreciate they arent just giving them the underneath. Although letting Kelce run free deep might be showing us WHY they line up off the ball.
  8. I'm not going to complain that McD is too conservative, especially at the end of games, and then complain when they were going for a TD.
  9. On our last series where we ended up kicking the go ahead FG, we went to Diggs twice and he got absolutely MUGGED both times. Sneed was wrapped around him, and had his left arm pinned down before the ball was even close. No call. Looks like a bad drop for Diggs. Dude is a baller. Look how he picked up that 1st down earlier in the game. I agree he might be dinged up. But he hasnt given up or checked out. Still crazy to me how much Bills fans want to find a reason to disparage this guy.
  10. Ok, the Bills went out and got McD a win and rallied around him in the postgame. At what point can Simon or Scott put this thread out of its misery?
  11. I dont disagree with this, but it really means demoting McDermott to DC and hiring a real Head Coach. Which I would also agree with. Isn't ever going to happen, but I agree with the idea.
  12. Get that AJE deal DONE!
  13. HUGE upgrade. No offense, Hailee. But HUGE upgrade.
  14. And the guy that lined up with the head start was involved in the play and scored the touchdown, so yeah. GFY, Pat.
  15. You know... the more I see of these post game pressers by Reid and Mahomes, the angrier I get. How dare they! Getting up there like they're a common victim, talking about "this isnt good for the NFL" and "another week talking about the refs". Mother ***** YOU are the one talking about the refs! And the basic rules ARE good for the NFL! I know everyone hates the officiating in the NFL, and rightfully so. But that doesnt mean you get to complain about a correct call. By a MILE!
  16. Eyes closed, head down, leading with the crown. Classic Rapp.
  17. And we blow them out if our players who actually exist are all healthy. So what?
  18. Apparently he slipped at home and hit his head and that was that. Freak accident type thing. Bummer.
  19. Crazy enough, the "QB" of the Homerun Throwback, Frank Wycheck, just passed away yesterday at 52. Maybe he reached down and gave Toney a little push forward as he was lining up, to get us back for getting one over on us with a forward lateral.
  20. Good news is we should be picking ahead of them in a WR-rich draft to stay ahead in the arms race.
  21. It wasnt all negative. Positive parts are quoted all over this thread. And if any former player or coach had positive things to say, Dunne would have included them as he did for Smith and DiMarco. Problem with trying to include current players is, what else CAN they say? Even if they dont like McD. It's even more inauthentic than talking to disgruntled former employees.
  22. The Chiefs have a top rated D and most of that is due to their DLine. Sometimes we have to play against other good players and they play well. Diggs, WRs, and the OLine are fine. We played a good team in their house in a tough game.
  23. This. Downfield, and/or long developing crossing routes. Josh didnt have the time in the pocket to let those types of routes develop tonight. He had 2 seconds and then was running for his life. Or on some plays they let the DL right through on the snap. Also partly why so many throws went to RBs.
  24. Improvised. Kelce does it all the time.
  25. Glad someone started a thread on this. It's ridiculous and I'd like to see him cut asap if he wasnt so needed. Earlier in the season I thought Rapp could step in for 1 of our 2 replacements next year. Now, I dont want him anywhere near our team.
