  1. I try to look beyond the next season and what needs we might have in Free Agency and the draft QB- Obviously Allen is locked in and knowing the Bills history I expect them to keep a veteran on the roster whether Trubisky or another guy. I'd like to see them add a young developmental guy but I'm not sure this is the draft to do it as its a pretty weak QB draft in my early analysis. Free Agency- Veteran Backup Draft: None RB- They have Cook locked in until 2026 and Ray Davis will be on year 2 of the his rookie contract. Ty Johnson is a free Agent but the Bills seems to like him quite a bit. I would think they wouldn't add a guy in the draft but Beane and their front office has an affinity for drafting Running Backs so never say never. Free Agency- Re-sign Ty Johnson Draft- Late Round/UDFA WR- Next year's roster has Coleman, Shakir, Samuel under contract. Hollins and Cooper are free agents. Wont even bother getting into the Hamlers/Shavers of the world. Think that Cooper is going to walk to be honest and I think they try to bring back Hollins on a reasonable contract. Think they take a look at the cheaper end of the free agent market and add a guy fairly high in the draft. Probably with one of their first 3 picks to add another boundary guy. Free Agency- Re-sign Hollins Draft- First two Rounds TE- We will have Kincaid back and we will have Knox back to his contract being structured the way it is. Morris is a Restricted Free Agent and I don't believe they will tender him due to him being an UDFA and the fact he's not worth 3 million. The Bills could work a new contract out with him for less but I think he walks for a more prominent opportunity. Need a guy who can block and think they will draft one in the mid to late rounds. I do not think Davidson is a long term option despite some people really liking him on this board. Draft: Mid to Late Round Prospect OL- Not going to spend a lot of time here. The Bills have their entire starting 5 under contract with only David Edwards being on the last year of his deal. The Bills will have Grable/VandeMark back as well as Gouriage/Van Pran, and Anderson. Don't expect a Free Agent add here and if they do add a guy in the draft it will be late most likely at the Guard position Draft: Late Round Prospect/UDFA DE- Separating out the Dline positions here because these are going to need some work. At DE we have everyone except for Smoot under contract for next year but Rousseau/Epenesa are Free Agents in 2026 and Von Miller is obviously old and can be a cap casualty in 2026 as well. We have Solomon as the Von Miller replacement but Rousseau and Epenesa are going to need extensions or replacements Free Agency: Re-Sign Smoot/Toohill or add Mid Level Free Agent Draft: Early to Mid round DT- The Bills have Oliver, Jones, and Carter under contract for next year and have a multitude of Free Agents at the position including Austin Johnson. Jones is also a free agent in 2026 and is on his last legs. Carter looks to be a player and Oliver isn't going anywhere so we are looking at at least two new adds to this position. Free Agency: Multiple Mid Level Free Agents for Depth Draft: Early to Mid Round prospect LB- Bills have Milano, Bernard, and Williams under contract as well as youngsters Ulofoshio and Andreessen. Morrow is a free agent but that isn't really a loss at all. I would expect them to add a low level Free Agent for depth and competition and they will most likely draft a guy late in the draft just because LB's are valuable ST's guys. Free Agency: Low Level Free Agent Draft: Late Round Prospect CB- Bills have Benford, Elam, Johnson under contract and also have depth guys like Lewis and Ingram who will be back. Douglas is a free agent and I expect him to get a contract that the Bills do not want to pay. I think the Bills will add a mid level guy who can start in a pinch and also draft a guy or two since Elam will almost assuredly not going to get the 5th year option and Benford is a Free Agent in 2026. Free Agency: Mid Level player who can start or be depth Draft: Two prospects(One early and One in the mid/late rounds) Safety- Bills have Rapp, Bishop under contract and Hamlin as a Free Agent. The Bills have Lewis as a possible Safety option on the roster next year as well but I expect the Bills to add to this position more for depth. I think Hamlin leaves for more money than the Bills want to pay. Free Agency- Mid Level guy who can start/depth Draft: Mid Round Prospect Special Teams- Bass and Martin are both under contract for next year and I expect them to be the kicker and punter. Can't see the Bills use a resource on either of these positions in the draft. Ferguson is a Free Agent and I'll be interested to see if the Bills bring him back. I'd say its likely but his snaps have been worse this year particularly on Field Goals. Draft: Late Round/UDFA comp for Bass and Ferguson. I'd expect a really heavy defensive draft next year something like this:(Pure guessing obviously) 1st Round- DE 2nd Round- CB 2nd Round- WR/DT 4th Round- WR/DT 4th Round- Safety 4th Round- CB 5th Round- DT 6th Round- TE 6th Round- OL 6th Round- QB/RB/Safety
  2. I said this a couple of times already. He had much more success on Edwards and I expect him to be lined up on Edwards a lot more if we see them again.
  3. The Cowboys are another team with a collection of name guys that play for themselves and not as a team. So many teams like this. Why culture matters so much.
  4. Play shouldn't have counted Tunsil false started
  5. All things considered I think the Bills are going with the Green Bay model when it comes to pass catchers. No real true # 1 WR but a slew of guys you can put on the field and catch the football. I don't think the Bills work is done when it comes to the WR position. I fully expect them to add another young guy fairly early in the draft next year to go with Coleman's selection this year. I don't expect Cooper to be resigned but I could be wrong on that for sure. The positive of the trade if the don't resign him is yea you gave up a 3rd but everyone has to remember that we got a 5th rounder back and if he does leave, we will most likely get a 4th or 5th rounder in return for him in 2026 in the form of a compensatory pick. Thats why the trade makes a lot of sense to do both in the short term and long term structure of the football team.
  6. Reportedly he is signing with the Chiefs after passing through waivers.
  7. Torrence has struggled at times and sometimes mightily but he was really good against Kansas City's front particularly against Jones. I said it in the game day thread, I was very surprised they kept lining up Jones on Torrence and not Edwards. He was having much more success against Edwards on the other side. I suspect when we see Kansas City again that they will have Jones lined up much more on Edwards next time. They probably thought they could take advantage of the younger guy and were proven wrong. As for the topic, Beane has always had a knack for finding guys on the offensive line and he is doing a masterful job. The depth on this roster at offensive line is very impressive and with the dearth of offensive lineman around the league I suspect some of these backups are going to get healthy contracts in the future with other teams. The Colts have to be kicking themselves for giving up on RVD so quickly now that he is having success. I figure Grable is the future at LT now that Spencer Brown is here for the long term.
  8. I always find this stuff interesting especially with the systems that the Bills run. Benford is a top CB in this system but would he excel in another system. Is he worth a 6 year 90 million dollar contract+. He’d probably be the top guy I’d resign Bernard would seem like the guy to go but he’s the leader of the defense , is a very valuable piece to this defense and would probably be the hardest to replace but he’s also the most injury prone but with Milano likely nearing the end he’s probably worth keeping with Williams as the future tandem Shakir will probably get 18-20 million dollars to bring back. I am not a proponent of signing WRs to big contracts. He’s Allen’s security blanket right now and there is obviously a really good connection but I’m of believe WRs can be replaced as like as you draft and develop. I’d probably go Benford, Bernard, Shakir in that order. Hopefully we can keep them all but it’s highly unlikely with Rousseau needing to be paid. That’s why I was surprised they paid Spencer Brown with cheaper options as a replacement People also need to remember that the Bills can get out of a lot of their bigger contracts in 2026. They can save 17 million on Von Miller, 9 million on Milano if they post June 1st him, 9 million on Knox, and 6 million on Samuel. Obviously some large dead cap with these guys and not all of them will be let go but if they are serious about keeping their young elite players a couple of these moves might be necessary to facilitate this.
  9. There is but its to me about okay thats what the going rate is for a guy whos in his mid 20's. So the top guy is getting 24 and Lenoir is roughly 18 but slot guys make much less as you know. If he can play there I think he gets closer to 20 or 21 but will the Chiefs be willing to pay that? Veach has a history of not giving DB's 2nd contracts. I just don't know if the Chiefs can afford to do that.
  10. If I was McDuffie, I'd want to be outside. If he can play at an good level while being an elite slot out there it makes that 2nd contract up there with Surtain and Lenoir versus the top Slot guys.
  11. The biggest difference to me in this year versus previous years is that the Chiefs secondary is nowhere near as good this year versus last year. McDuffie is still McDuffie but he isn't playing up to his typical level. They downgraded from Sneed to Chamarri Conner and had Jaylen Watson starting at the other CB spot and he obviously is out and their starting Nazeeh Johnson there right now. That is a huge downgrade from last year and its no wonder why they were going after Lattimore at the deadline. If Spags wants to blitz his team isn't gonna hold up near as much as it did last year.
  12. I never thought it was. I also didn't think this was a rebuilding year. I got disagreed with quite a bit on here when I said we were still Super Bowl contenders when everyone was belly aching about how bad our WR corps was and how our safeties weren't playoff caliber etc etc. As long as Josh Allen is around this team will be a super bowl contender.
  13. Already lost to the Ravens twice
  14. Man another soul crushing loss for the Bengals
  15. McConkey is a stud. Always thought that and wanted the Bills to grab him. Coleman has been fine tho so far
  16. Dicker is pretty damn good I would expect him to make the GW if they can get into range
  17. I agree especially as it pertains to the Chargers and Broncos. Chargers have a brutal schedule and the Broncos are inconsistent.
  18. Here you take it, no I insist
  19. I thought he missed it but that’s just my opinion
  20. Haha ***** Bengals it’s just embarrassing how they lose games. Their the more talented Jets this year
  21. See idc if there is a guy in the area. That’s intentional grounding imo. Spiking the ball 8 yards behind the line of scrimmage to avoid a sack should be changed
  22. Its like a game of who doesn't want to win it more. I feel like the Chargers still pull this out cause the Bengals luck has been incredibly awful this year. Gonna make a huge comeback to fall short.
  23. Chargers trying to charger this game.
  24. I wont say whether this is right or wrong but each game is different. It was a great win today for sure but I fail to play what ifs all the time. We don't know what the teams will look like in January either if these two teams meet again.
  25. Herbert lucky he didn't get seriously injured there.
