  1. Do you believe that Diggs being a cap hit at 28 million dollars with decreasing production as beneficial right now? I guess if you see it as a blip and he bounces back then yes. if you see his last half of the season and playoffs as a sign of things to come then it’s a terrible contract to have on the books
  2. A class that has a bunch of guys who may or may not develop into starters is not a loaded class. It’s a class with depth. Maybe we just have different qualifications of loaded then. For example the 2022 draft imo was loaded at Safety with NFL starting quality safeties. Hamilton, Brisker, Cine, Cook, Pitre, Daxton Hill amongst others going in the first two rounds. Then you had guys like Kerby Joseph going in round 3. Then as the draft went along there was less developmental guys.
  3. Right so it has depth but isn’t loaded with guaranteed guys. There are a lot of developmental guys in this draft. That’s what I said to you and you disagreed lol
  4. No, I think you’re not looking deep enough into it. Again no one answers the question why a highly talented athletic freak struggled to see the field for 4 out of his 5 years. The only thing people point to was he was a HS QB. Well I just pointed out there are hundreds of examples of this and no one wants to rebutt besides well it’s clear you want to disagree. Can’t point to NFL talent, can’t point to a high level program at South Carolina. So it’s points to something else who knows but I lean towards struggles to process or learn a playbook since he’s so athletically gifted
  5. So what took him so long if he was incredibly talented and smart. It’s not like South Carolina had a ton of NFL level talent in front of him. Juice Wells will be drafted but not much beyond that. People don’t want to answer these questions. There has to be some reason and it’s not he took a long time to learn the position because he was a HS QB. I would actually say and this is an assumption that he might lack intelligence to pick things up
  6. People make this case. There are a lot of QBs in HS who transition to other positions. He’s not special or some outlier when it comes to this. There are 100s of examples of this
  7. And I’m not. The only reason why he became the guy at SC was because Wells got hurt this year. You’re not versatile if you’re not on the field. I don’t believe he’s a prospect that will instantly crack the WR rotation. For all his good traits he has just as many bad traits.
  8. Now do 2022 and 2021 for me. It’s amazing how brainwashed people on here are for a one year wonder who’s old who couldn’t get on the field for 4 years and everyone wants him as our first round pick. Kincaid was old but he was a very polished player who could come in and contribute right away. The fact people think this guy is going to come in at X and play right away is completely asinine. He didn’t play in college for 4 years at South Carolina were not talking Ohio Stare here. His former college teammate Juice Wells is a better player. I get it you love him and you have some respect around here so others follow.
  9. January 2025. If he was so good why didn’t he get the chance for 4 years. This is my problem with some people. Okay he flourished one year. Why didn’t he get an opportunity supposedly for 4 years before that. Work ethic? Guys better than him? So im supposed to then believe a guy who couldn’t flourish or get on the field or however you want to put it is the 28th best player in a tremendously deep WR draft No a raw WR prospect at 24 is not a good thing. You expect a 24 year old prospect to be a polished player by now. If he was 21 or 22 I wouldn’t have a problem. Let’s say he takes 2 years to get up to NFL speed due to his rawness. He’s now 26 and has 3 years left. Great we get fantastic production for 3 years then he’s going to seek a huge deal at 29 years old. It will likely be his only big contract and we don’t know if he’ll break down at 31 or 34 like you say but your going to either take that risk and pay him a ton or lose him
  10. He also has a ton of flaws in his game as well and will be pushing 24 when hes in the NFL his rookie season. If he was a guy who was 21 I would be more game for him but he's not. There are so many people here who are going to be highly disappointed when the Bills pass on him at 28.
  11. I 100% disagree on the Safety class being loaded. Does it have some depth to it I can get behind that but outside of Cooper DeJean, I don’t have a 2nd round grade on another safety. It’s not loaded it has some developmental depth prospects
  12. Guys that Beane described lean towards a McConkey, Worthy or Roman Wilson.
  13. He plays outside and a lot project him to the slot because of his route running. That comment was very interesting and describes a guy like a McConkey or a Worthy way more than guys like Legette
  14. If you want to trade back and get a 3rd rounder you probably have to move down to about 43 without giving up much of anything back. I would think you would be able to get a quality guy at 43 but is it the guy you covet esp at WR. I think its more likely that the Bills make a smaller move down into the 30's grab an extra 4th rounder and then use 2 of those 3 4th rounders to move up into the 3rd round.
  15. If you’re okay with Murphy you should be okay with Newton. I would argue Newton is the better player
  16. I usually don’t make trades in mocks but it’s also pretty clear that the Vikings added a 2nd 1st rounder to trade up. If it helps you out put JJ McCarthy at 11 , Olu Fashanu at 5 and and the Vikings can take Mitchell for the Chargers
  17. I told at the beginning I don’t do trades and I made one exception. I don’t disagree in theory but your points make no sense in this post after things are pretty easily laid out
  18. AD Mitchell is gone in this. It’s great to want but what if he’s gone
  19. The problem you had is there is legit not really an edge rusher that I would say that guys a 10 sack man. I don't even know if Verse and Turner become 10 sack guys. If we can get our hands on Verse, Turner, or Latu then I think you take that chance. Even maybe Chop Robinson but beyond that there isn't really a 10 sack potential guy in this class if you ask me right now. I think thats why you saw Beane add a guy like Toohill to go along with Kingsley, Miller, Groot and Epenesa.
  20. I mean the chances of me being right on one let alone both picks is highly unlikely even the best mockers in the world only get a handful of picks right in the first round let alone later in the draft. I will say I do a full 7 rounder more for fun and I can say that my latest pick ever being correct was Anthony Hill TE NC State who went to the Texans in round 4
  21. I think ideally they would trade down and take Nic but they have Las Vegas and NO right behind them that need QBs
  22. They had to move him. Apparently him on the franchise tag wasn't going to give them enough money to sign their draft picks so it made sense from a financial standpoint to move on and still get some draft capital for him.
  23. I agree and I do think that Beane will try to move down and recoup a 3rd rounder and probably take a WR in the early parts of round 2. I believe he will move around quite a bit in the early rounds both up and down if he can. That was the exact thought was that Amegadjie can start as a backup while he develops his body in year 1 possibly playing at Guard before pushing out to RT if Spencer Brown leaves and then eventually taking over for Dawkins at LT. Plus people want reallocation of resources to the offense and this goes that route.
  24. Usually I try to put out a couple of mocks and now seems like a good time to post one with Free Agency slowing down and before the draft. I usually don't project trades but I did here with the Vikings moving up to 5 and the Chargers moving out. Enjoy and try to be nice haha. 1. Chicago Bears- Caleb Williams QB USC 2. Buffalo Bills- Xavier Worthy WR Texas - Alright for all you WR guys this one is for you. Worthy obviously is a high level speed prospect and even though he doesn't fit the specific need for a bigger X receiver or even possibly a natural replacement for Diggs, he is what the Bills are looking for as someone who can provide explosive plays in the pass game which is something that both Beane and McDermott have mentioned this offseason. Besides his world class speed, Worthy was a highly productive prospect. He will have to work on his blocking ability as well as his route running as well as his effort at times. 29. Buffalo Bills- Kiran Amegadjie OT/OG Yale - Before you dogwalk me on this pick, this came down to Amegadjie and Adisa Isaac. In this iteration I do not see a DT prospect that is worth their salt at this pick with Fiske, Sweat, and Jenkins all gone. Amegadjie is a super raw prospect who obviously plays in the Ivy League. This might be a slight reach but the potential of Amegadjie to become a high level offensive tackle in this league is right up there with the top OT's in this draft. The Bills did meet with him formally at the combine and while tackle doesn't seem like a need at the moment, Spencer Brown is on his last year of his contract and Amedgadjie did start 10 games at Yale at Guard so he could possibly slot into the Left Guard Spot before taking over for Brown next year. He also possesses rare traits that you dont see in an offensive Tackle. Amegadjie is 6'5 323 pounds and possesses incredibly quick feet, 36 inch arm length and over an 85 inch wingspan. Just watch the kids highlights. 61. Detroit Lions- Max Melton CB Rutgers 62. Baltimore Ravens-Jeremiah Trotter Jr. LB Clemson 63. San Francisco 49ers- Adisa Isaac DE Penn State 64. Kansas City Chiefs- Malachi Corley WR Western Kentucky
  25. Personality wise and the type of guy he is definetely fits the Bills. I've mentioned that a couple of times in this thread. I think from that standpoint he's a good fit for wht the Bills like. I just don't know if thats the route they want to go at WR but it wouldn't surprise me if they take him.
