  1. You want my opinion. I think there might be two that can go top 12 this year
  2. I honestly think that if the drafts top 3 goes in this order that Jeanty is in play for the Pats at 4. I think Sanders is still going 2. The thing I can’t get out of my head was that Garrett when he signed the extension with the Browns he said something like he knew who the QB would be with a wry smile on his face. I doubt that meant Kenny Pickett or some other retread
  3. Again I have stated that DB is more valuable than WR. The posters point was that the route tree success was in part because Hunter sees more quality WRs than DBs in College. I disagreed with this point and showed who are NFL caliber players that he faced on Colorados 2024 schedule. I’m not arguing that he is going to play DB and be drafted as such. As it pertains to the player I think he’s a better WR right now than DB
  4. Wooo two highly drafted punters who have failed in the NFL. Start the competition
  5. Im not saying he’s more valuable at WR than CB he is more valuable as a DB because there are less quality guys. You’re right on that point. That wasn’t my point tho. hes a better WR than a CB right now in my opinion. You also brought up that he faced more quality WRs than DBs specifically at the NFL level. I disagreed with that. NDSU has Bryce Lance Nebraska Isaiah Naylor CO State Tory Horton Arizona Tet McMillan DBs: Nebraska Tommi Hill UCF Mac McWilliams Kansas State Marques Sigle Kansas Mello Dotson Kansas Cobee Bryant That’s all he really saw in 2024 when it comes to legit NFL prospects. Pretty even I’m sure I missed a late round guy or two but he didn’t see more quality NFL comp at DB than he did at WR
  6. looking at their 2024 I’d say it was pretty even all things considered. I’m bias though as I think Hunter is a better WR than DB but he’s damn good at both
  7. I mean obviously what I think may not happen but I do believe that Buffalo is going to go CB at 30 unless a DL is there that they just can’t pass on. I’m not even sure if Kenneth Grant is that DL. I think ideally Trey Amos is their guy at 30. Perfect fit for the Bills and an immediate starter. It seems like they really like Josh Farmer who I believe will be available at their 2nd round picks who is a combo DT. Also wouldn’t surprise me if they move up slightly in the 2nd to get the DL they want whether Edge or interior and then trade back from 62 into the 3rd. I will say this as well, with Will Johnson not testing at all and questions about his speed combined with a 2024 that didn’t have the hype of 2023 and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Amos and possibly even Hairston goes before him.
  8. Cardinals, 49ers, Broncos
  9. Whenever I do my mock drafts or start one I continuously feel like an Alfred Collins, Tyleik Williams type will be available at 56. It seems like they love Josh Farmer though who would prob be a 3T who could play some 1. As I do it as well I keep having Grant dropping everyone that I do. I don’t think Harmon will be available and I don’t think Nolan is their type of guy
  10. Yea Elam didn’t want to tackle either in College. I think they want someone who is just willing to stick in there and help more than a guy who avoids contact. I didn’t take much from that. Hairston will at least stick his nose in
  11. It doesn’t matter what you want though. They drafted Phillips at 1T and he’s 307 pounds. Jones is 315, the only big 1T we had was Star and people got mad because he couldnt rush the passer or make splash plays for the about we were paying him. They want DL at every position who has movement skills and can rush the passer. That’s more important to them than clogging a run lane. Grant fits that because he has movement ability but fatties like Desmond Watson provide nothing to the Bills
  12. People need to realize the Bills don’t prefer big space eaters even at 1T. Harmon or other guys in the 310 range could easily play the 1 here. I think it’s possible you see Carter playing both this year with more 1T than last year
  13. Sure I get that but it’s clearly obvious what his role will be unless the goal is to let Jones go after June 1st and for him to convert to 1tech the whole time with a rookie
  14. The Clear answer is he is the 5th DT that can play both the 1 and the 3.
  15. I’m not sure we’re going to have to trade up to get Grant to be honest
  16. That’s a really good deal for the Bills. Way under what he would have gotten on the market
  17. Stock is rising pretty heavy. Don’t know if he makes it to 109 might be a candidate at 62 or trade down scenario in round 3
  18. I actually agree he’s a better WR than DB. He’s improved quite a bit no doubt but early on in his career he would be getting burned by HBCU WRs at times and still occasionally at Colorado. No one shut him down as a WR Mukuba is my favorite Horns prospect by a lot
  19. I think your scenario # 2 is more spot on. I think they stick at 30 , stick at 56 unless there is a player they really want to trade up for and move down from 62 into the 3rd and then start using those back end picks if they so desire to move around
  20. Well besides the fact that the Bills don’t have a 7th. Taking a guy who provides literally zero pass rush, zero lateral agility and would have to be stashed for multiple years to lose weight doesn’t sound appealing to me
  21. Jasper while not making it to the NFL has made a nice career for himself in the coaching ranks. Very successful at his Alma mater in Bethel College and just took the HC job at Stetson which is FCS football(sort of)
  22. He’s a terrible football player. Would be a waste of a pick
  23. I know this is you just responding. A lot of people thought we weren’t going to keep the vast majority of our picks last year and if we did they wouldn’t make the team. This was echoed by a lot of posters last year and we drafted 10 guys and all 10 guys are still in Buffalo in some capacity. Everyone thinks that we are not going to do it again, and maybe we don’t take 10 but it wouldn’t surprise me if we keep 8-9 players again. With the tight salary cap, aging roster, and our ability to develop late round talent into at least depth players I see us continuing to get younger and cheaper especially with the ability to get out of a bunch of high level contracts in 2026
  24. I had him in my last mock to the Bills. He’ll go round two or early round 3 in my opinion and wouldn’t surprise me if he goes earlier than expected in the 40s He has everything you look for in a pass rusher but he is one year wonder. He’s got perfect size wing span and athletic traits. He’s a one year wonder and you do have to question why it took him so long to find success. Can he replicate it in the NFL or not is the question
  25. Production was poor in part because he was injured both seasons he was a full time player. Had 22 yards a catch and 570 yards in 7 games. He was on pace for over 1,000 yards his sophomore season before declaring for the draft. Thornton played in 47 games between Oregon and Tennessee including 3 full season and his best season was 80 yards better than Metcalf. Im not poo pooing on Thornton but there has to be some context between the two in comparison
