  1. Solid depth guy for a one year deal. Seems like he’s the new Clapp this year
  2. So would I. Everytime I look at things I think a ton are going to go in the 30s and 40s which means they almost certainly have to take one at 30. Probably means DT at 56 or 62
  3. and they prob said geez this guy isn’t what we thought he might need a lot of work
  4. Well the highly regarded rookie was Elam so there is prob good reason for that
  5. He’s such a meathead jock by the way he sounds. I love it haha
  6. This years CB class is solid and there will be a good one there at 30 which honestly might be the plan now and add a DL in the 2nd round. We still have Ingram as well. We also have Hardy who actually showed decent chops at outside CB in the preseason last year. Im honestly not even sure Dane is a lock to be on the roster I’d say it’s likely for sure but if a mid to late round DB or Hardy shows out he could be let go
  7. Nope only Hoecht and Palmer qualify so far unfortunately we’ve only lost Hollins that qualifies so no comp picks as of now
  8. There is literally nothing out on the CB market better besides an injury prone Asante Samuel who prob doesn’t even fit what we do. It won’t stop us from drafting two guys
  9. I don’t think this precludes the Bills plan at all and I still expect two rookie CBs in the draft. One with the 3 early picks and one in the 4th or 5th
  10. They were also keeping 75 DL even more than usual though I think they had what 12 on the active roster at points late last year
  11. I mean can’t say I’m surprised with the options that were available on the CB market
  12. I always thought him running would be the difference between drafted and undrafted. Now I think he will but how high. His size is a deterrent to a lot of systems. The Bills aren’t one of them
  13. I think you’re all underestimating Hoecht a lot. Didn’t have big sack numbers but when he was in he was always chasing down QBs He also was asked to drop 22% of the time and still put up solid sack numbers as a part time starter. He won’t be doing that here you would think as he’ll be going for the QB
  14. Yup was pretty close with my 9.05. Didn’t have the 20 and 10 and his height and weight were lower than listed which is never surprising
  15. The Bills also individually met with QB CJ Ogbonna after today’s pro day. I can’t imagine he’s a QB in the NFL but maybe a DB or WR project with STs upside. Strikes me as a CFL guy
  16. Yes I said this earlier in the thread. I think he was signed just in case Cook holds out and Johnson has to focus more on offense during training camp. Johnson KRs currently for Buffalo. I do not think he’s here to challenge Codrington tho he will get reps I’m sure On another note I can’t believe he’s only 26 it seems a lifetime ago people loved him in the draft
  17. I’m having trouble posting it but his RAS score as of right now based on a height of 6’1 and a weight of 225 he would have a RAS score of 9.05. This is based off his pro day info. His 20 yard split and 10 yard split are missing so that can raise or lower his RAS as well as his height and weight
  18. I hit up Ken Platte the RAS guy to see if he could help us out
  19. Yes I don’t expect much here to be honest. I don’t think this is to push Codrington but I think he is a backup option to Ty Johnson as a KR if Cook decides to hold out that means Johnson will become an even bigger part of the offensive gameplan and won’t want him exposed on STs
  20. @GunnerBill is going to love this one😉
  21. I’m surprised but I’m not that Cooper and Douglas haven’t signed yet but both are looking for that one last payday and maybe they haven’t gotten what they want.
  22. He’s a good player, he’ll get a chance and maybe the Bills use one of their late picks on him but if he does go undrafted I’m sure the Bills will be high on his list
  23. Looking at some of the contracts for RBs, Ty got a pretty decent deal out of the Bills. Got some extra security at 2 years and got 2.5 per which had been high for backup types this year
  24. Yup at this point I’m think one of the premium picks and 1 of the 4th rounders are going to CB
  25. Harrison Phillips played 1 tech right around the same size Ogunjobi is
