  1. Yah but c'mon Joe, BOTH states' Democratic commitees agreed to this set-up. How come you and her supporters aren't going after them?
  2. Amen to that. I have always said religion should be taxed.
  3. Leaving Pasta Joe and Silver sans talking points.
  4. Just in obama quits church.
  5. I thought dev/null's lyric was the right one, never having looked up the lyrics online before. Listen to the Manfred Mann Earth Band's (not Springsteen's) version and tell me that isn't what they are saying.
  6. Ha! Yea I got one too! I will pass. Ya gotta buy @ least 1 preseason and I dont wanna go to Tonto for that.
  7. Isn't that a lyric in Blinded By the Light?
  8. Wow! Who would have ever thought Bob Barr would siphon off votes from McCain. I guess that performance in Borat put him over the top.
  9. It's called frontrunning. Murdoch is obviously not an idiot and he knows his side's candidate is charismatically challenged to say the least, so what's wrong with jumping on the bandwagon? I remember not too long ago he was acting the same way with Hillary when everybody preordained her as the democratic nominee.
  10. Well the RepubliCons are piling on Scotty like so many Mean Machine atop of Ray Nitschke. Now it is Viagara spokesman and failed presedential nominee Bob Dole's turn; http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonathanmart..._McClellan.html Note, once again, how the right wing stooges attack McClellan but say nothing of the points he made in the book.
  11. What's up with u RepubliCons being so prickly lately? I know stuff ain't goin' yer way but a dictionary reference? C'mon!
  12. The term "RepubliCon" is what it sez...Republican Conservative, shortened for the sake of brevity when we all know that faction is pretty retarded. Proof? Oh the last eight painful years. Colin Powell deserves every insult for sitting before congress with the supposed "yellow cake uranium" card, playing the neocon stooge and being discredited over and over again. Sounds like a cancer to me.
  13. Yea but serioulsy what could Scotty have done back then? He would have been steamrolled by the Bush propaganda machine and their co-conspirators in the corporate conservative biased mainstream media faster than you can say the "Toronto Bills".
  14. I thought most of the original people in the Bush administration were just recycled old right wing hacks from the tricky Dick and Raygun administrations (Rummy and Cheney among many)? Maybe Rove and McClellan were from Texas but geez can anyone think of anyone else from Texas that had a prominant role in the administration?
  15. McClellan's book is the hottest topic in politics-well at least for this week-and while it doesn't tell us what those in the know already knew six years ago, it is still always fun to watch the far right republicons eat their own. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nati...92_scott29.html Of course the right wing media attack McClellan but predictably enough avoid criticizing the actual things he said in the book. Scotty always seemed to be the most pained of Bush's press spokespersons. And while he lacked the likable slick charm of Tony Snow, or the photogenic looks of the attractive ditz Dana Perino, you always got the feeling with McClellan that he knew he was spouting Bush Neocon crap and seemed to feel bad about it. McClellan is hardly a hero like a Richard Clarke (I'd lump him in the scrap heap with another neocon retractor Colin "Cancer" Powell) but hey we'll take any act of contrition we can get.
  16. Yeah, the folks you just dismissed are all dreadful. They should all be forced to hear the libritaitard/Con viewpoint (what's a libertairian besides a republican too afraid to mention he'a a conservatard?) in a Ben Stein documentary about evilution. Ya git wot u deserve
  17. after seeing over and over again the self congratulatory clips of Matthews grilling this guy it left me wondering who the hell is this talk show host? He's on no radio station in WNY (maybe Rachacha but that ain't Buff/Niagara) and he's likely to dissappear into the oblivion he so rightly deserves. The conservative era is thankfully over. After causing so much pain and destruction locally and abroad we can count our blessings that this kind of ill informed garbage will not be taken serioulsy anymore. We can only hope.
  18. Problem is he still has to explain Parsley....his self proclaimed spiritual "Guide".
  19. Dunno Cincy. The "uh oh" was basically a warning to the republiCons that the gravy train for you guys is over. There is no safe district in the country for the right. You can pull out all the anti Obama rev Wright nonsense you want but the American people are beginning to see through that crap. It will be interesting to see by how much the Democrats extend their majority come November.
  20. Ok Mister Wacka I did. Not having seen this rag at my corner Willie Farms news stand I was curious. According to Wikipedia this mag is aimed at "Washington Insiders". I think that sez it all right there.
  21. What the phuck is the national journal? Now about the Cocco article...What I will miss about Hillary is her future appearences on South Park.
  22. I didn't say McCain didn't stand a chance in my original post. You just added that thought after my second post. Of course McCain has a realistic chance, especially with Rove running his campaign but he is still running basically on the same old failed republiCon/Bush platform so why shouldn't progressives take advantage of that? McCain is half-heartedly taking up the global warming cause (just like the far right and corporate America he represents he's only about two decades behind the times in that respect) hoping to gain evangelicals and independents. Will McCain win? Not unless there's a tsunami of public sentiment for the republiCons and given recent developments that seems highly unlikely.
  23. And this would be according to which poll?
