Booger McFarland and Corey Simon had the same issues. The Colts just need DTs more than we do at present. I also think that with this draft coming up - with almost every junior and reshirt Soph that can declare wanting to do so before rookies get slotted - the fact we now have 8 shots to get kids that fit our system makes me very happy. For all we know, this could be a situation ala Darwin Walker, where it is a conditional four that can move up! Oh and Bill - this year, we need one free agent on that line - JASON BROWN - C, Ravens. Mauler, can play guard (if we draft a center as well) and the Ravens cannot keep him, Suggs, Lewis and Bart Scott.

There is the fact this is going to be most likely the most loaded draft in NFL history - because of 2010 and the potential for slotted contracts. With Upshaw's death, the hardline stance on that issue hasn't been mentioned... You got a guy like Gresham - who is pretty much an all-around TE that can also do an end around (!!). But who knows if we could get him? We know we can get Gonzo. We know the price and we know we'd have him for at least another 3 years. In three years we can have a guy ready to groom under him....

You have a player like TG, and all those TE screens we tried to run with Schouman and Royal last year would be deadly. In addition, you add him to our red zone package and teams cannot just play a Hardy fade - they'd have to worry about the fade, an Evans/Reed slant/in, a Y stick by Gonzo....Lynch/Jackson in the flat..... c'mon Russ, you got us Stroud, now get us Gonzo!!!!

Tuesday, you're thinking of the Counter Trey, or G-T Counter. Nowadays, there aren't too many athletic guard/tackle combos that can pull that off, so most teams use the T-TE variant. But yes, I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE that play.

Every team in the NFL does that. Players will come in for some film on their own or with their coaches, but work starts on wednesday, as the coaches are reviewing and installing the gameplans for the last/next week respectively. Check every other team and I believe that you will find it to be accurate.

No offense Labatt, but every article and quote by the coaches says that April did anticipate the onside call at the beginning of the week and the players just didn't focus on that play. So, given he's the best ST coach in the NFL, I think I'll go with his lying down trick and whatever other April Fools he's got...

For me, the best shot (if there is one besides video footage) is of the deep throw to Evans. Look at the line: Chambers' guy shoves him back, Chambers recovers almost Matrix-style to allow Trent to step up into the void and drop the ball into the bucket...I just love watching that replay.

Actually Socal, on the press conference Jauron said that was designed to do that - either be a run by the QB or he can take the sack if nothing's open.

I went to the game yesterday with my fiancee, and we saw two girls who were completely destroyed by a pack of guys on a beer run. The crowds were tight at the start of the 3rd and these guys apparently wanted to get their beer fast. They knocked one of them into a cement wall and then to the floor and the other flew into a corner. We stopped to pick these now beer soaked and hurt girls up and the idiots just kept on going. Not a proudest moment to be a Bills Fan.

One of Rogers' conditions was also to get a re-negotiated contract, which the Bills refused to do. The Bills also refused that with Stroud, but he agreed on pushing some of his salary up front a few years and that appeased him.
