Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

I think they are still in on DHop and OBJ at a specific price point. Right now, it's too high for both. -

Not exactly the meeting at Yalta, but who doesn't like a humorous conspiratorial theory with photographic evidence? -

The exorbitant price was talked about yesterday. No way AZ gets another team to absorb all that salary and gets premium picks ala CMC as well. They will have to come down from that or keep a disgruntled player at a high cost. -

Ah, this is possible, though Beck Water earlier opined that the gnostic arithmetic was constructed upon a different base number. And there is yet the secret arcana of gematria to consider . . . -

The ways of the mystical number require hieratic powers beyond ordinary ken. I am confident you will get resolution on this, though perhaps less sure about 163. -

Of course, but the rumor is the new AZ GM has been overambitious in his ask and reworking the contract is not an easy obstacle in this case. -

I don't think that handicap fully explains it, but that and injuries played a role. Also, there's no doubt a learning curve. I hope there is still a day one or two pick used to address the oline. But first, lets go get DHop. -

Hopefully Damien Harris takes over for some of those RZ carries. Josh should save those kind of heroics for the playoffs as much as possible (but he probably won't). -
I would take Dalton Kincaid if he falls to 27. Ideally, you use a first round pick for a difference maker at one of the prime expensive pieces, QB, WR, DE, LT, but outside of that, go for a playmaker. I think Kincaid is that fella and the few WRs I like, Johnston and JSN, are not going to be there. If you don't trade back and there isn't a player to fit the preceding criteria, I am taking Darnell Wright over a LB despite the fact that folks will say that is a glaring hole in the D. This is a year to prioritize Josh Allen and the offense; protecting Josh Allen and adding weapons around him. Let McD coach up the side of the ball he is expert in. If they do go LB, trade back. Trade back or not, Trenton Simpson before Jack Campbell because scheme fit is a real consideration.

No, that particular conversation was referring to Denver's putative asking price for Jeudy, though the most recent information posted in the thread dedicated to Jeudy makes it sound as if he is not actually on the trading block. The KC fan Zerovoltz showed up to opine Jeudy was a better target to help the Bills, that's how it came up here. -

Apparently as of right now, that's the asking price and there are multiple teams interested. I didn't say you should pay that price, I said that was the likely ask. -

Definitely worth consideration. I think it probably will cost 27 and there is likely more competition for him. -

Agenda is a word with negative connotations -- it subtly implies an ideological distortion or putting one's thumb on the scales. "Falling short anywhere similar to the last two years is going to bring a lot of dissension. I don't think the long game is psychologically realistic." I stand by that. Built into the first bolded is a subjunctive -- "if this happens, then," so it is not a certitude. And I think taking into consideration the likely psychological results is germane to how one strategizes building the team. -

Naturally, it's speculation. I don't know the future, neither do you. One speculates. -

Some folks think that as long as we have Josh Allen, we're in the discussion for a SB means a conservative approach at player acquisition and building through the draft is the best counsel. I think if we don't win a SB in the next few years, Diggs won't be the only one who is irate with the regime. Josh Allen is in a legacy competition and Mahomes is up 2-0, Burrow has two number 1 receivers, and the conference seemingly keeps adding premium players. Win one now might very well open up more success later. Falling short anywhere similar to the last two years is going to bring a lot of dissension. I don't think the long game is psychologically realistic. -

Plausible argument. I don't think there is a LB left in free agency that is going to stop them from using an early pick at the position. You know the pull of their natural inclinations is going to favor DL, LB, S, but I hope somehow they fight against that and really tilt more towards the offense in the draft. -

I'm assuming 8 of the 19 missed games are due to the suspension. You're gambling on availability, that he'll be relatively healthy and maintain production. Some old timers have hearkened back to James Lofton. I dunno, but so far there hasn't been any perceivable drop off in his play. I think he's still got something left in the tank. Beck Water's concern about oline protection is another issue, but I don't think trading for DHop is going to tangibly affect that side of things. They've made their free agent plays on oline. I think they should add a day one or two pick as well, regardless of whether they get Hopkins or not. -
