I'm definitely interested in the fella. I also like for different reasons Dalton Kincaid (you'd have to get him in the first if he falls) and Darnell Washington (mainly a blocker who probably goes in the second.) Altogether, this guy might be the best convergence of talent and availability in a round when TE could be the choice.

Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

If that's the case, better not be much value going back AZ's way. Really think there is too much smoke for nothing to be going on, though the skeptics think this is all self-induced on the basis of a few odd IG posts. -
I think you have to include Jerry Jeudy. These jokes always have three.

Just skip to the latest page. If anything significant has happened, you can always go and backread. Though all this is feeling like an exercise in Waiting for Godot. -
If you go over to page 12 in the thread on David Edwards maybe about half way down the page, MrEpsYtown gives a very nice analysis of the olinemen he thinks fit with what Kromer is trying to do and also those who don't. It might help your evaluation of what we are likely looking for.

I agree our drafts have to be better. Too many premium picks have missed or had middling results. I still think there is a way to make DHop work that is not as crippling for the future as you suggest. -
If the draft we're today...

He just disappeared last year, so it looks like a complete whiff. Beane has a number of day 2 strikeouts. I hope you're right, in any event. -
Yes, it helps in this era if your HC is the offense expert fella. I personally like 12 personnel, so I think then you go find yourself another OC who employs it.

Fella looks great. I wonder a bit about the level of competition, but he absolutely seems like a perfect fit. I hope he's around in the third, because I suspect that is where they might be open to drafting him. Off-topic, but I like teams with idiosyncratic names. Jackrabbits is just fun.

Really appreciate it. This is very helpful.

No doubt. I have the same concerns about Dorsey. He needs to figure it out or someone who has a clue will replace him.

I'm not an expert, but I recall reading that some think the cap is going to escalate significantly in the next few years, partly because certain income streams have not yet been accounted for. -
Well, I agree, but it might be that Dorsey is more comfortable including the TE as a threat option in 12 personnel, so adding one would actually increase Knox's use. There's quite a bit of talent at the position in the draft in a down year at WR, so I think this is a sneaky place to look for a weapon.

I think he should consider selling some of the future or someone else may be making those decisions in the future. -
Don't know if you are keen on Hopkins or not. I would like him. If I can get him and sign Bobby Wagner and a veteran space eater, I'd be thrilled. I just don't see how we can manage all that with the cap and I'm not passing on Hopkins if I have a chance to get him.

Given the first two rounds, I don't trade. I stick at 27 and take Dalton Kincaid. At 59, I take Matthew Bergeron who apparently lasts until the third round in your draft. I think LB and DT need to be higher on your priority list, but I like going offense with the first two picks. I'm keeping Tucker Kraft in mind. I know you like him. We definitely need to grab one this draft.
-
Matthew Bergeron. Could get him in the second.

Easy contempt for others is often a sign of deep moral decay. It is also rarely attached to superior intelligence. And really, as Plato understood, the penalty for wickedness is the prison of an ugly soul. -

I'm not watching his social media. I just saw Kansas State win a terrific overtime game against Michigan St. I'm monitoring this thread because the addition of Hopkins would greatly improve the team I've followed for over fifty years. Your snide attitude is not a good look for you. -

So, folks who ardently hope for a player that could palpably impact the teams' SB chances are "fan boys?" The pejorative denigration says a lot about you. -

No one here thinks it's a definite happening. Why do you think everyone is still in this thread at 9:12 EST obsessively anticipating news and worrying about those dastardly Chiefs? -

If it happens I think Reed83HOF needs to go to work wearing an Easter Bunny suit tomorrow. And if it doesn't happen he isn't allowed to take it off.
