  1. I often agree with you. I like your fundamental optimism, but I do not believe that most of those with more negative views believe we are not good. I think the consensus is we are not good enough, which is different. There is concern that the draft will largely be devoted to the D and needed upgrades on offense are going to be confined to later draft picks and the modest, albeit possibly astute signings we already know about.
  2. I think this analysis is accurate. It doesn't look probable right now that the Bills are likely to acquire Hopkins or OBJ. They are supposedly high on the new FA acquisitions, neither of which screams even potential #2. Unlikely a draft pick will fall to 27 that will fulfill that role. There's a fair crowd that is now going with we were victims of bad breaks, injury, whatnot last year, so the chances of a SB are in reality unchanged and running it back is not a bad proposal. I think there still needs to be investment in oline and upgrade at wr2, te2. I expect a good chance 2 of the 3 day one and two picks go for the D again (LB, DL).
  3. A pithy and profound definition of marriage.
  4. It was just a joke. See, it's supposed to be at Mahomes' expense . . .
  5. I don't know what is going on with the emojis. I've seen quite a few that are blocks or ovals and the like.
  6. I'm guessing that was a rhetorical question with an implied answer.
  7. And a D- for Darnell Washington. I like both the early picks, would really help the oline.
  8. Yes, I heard that. Beane just mentioned OBJ at the owner's meetings as if it were still a possibility which is why I included him.
  9. I think they are still in on DHop and OBJ at a specific price point. Right now, it's too high for both.
  10. He's a very admirable fella. If he's here for the next decade, that means Josh Allen and the Bills have won at least one SB, so I hope you are right.
  11. Probably girl problems which are known catalysts for foolish.
  12. They selected him two picks ahead of Creed Humphrey. Bills were wrong when it counted
  13. Not exactly the meeting at Yalta, but who doesn't like a humorous conspiratorial theory with photographic evidence?
  14. The exorbitant price was talked about yesterday. No way AZ gets another team to absorb all that salary and gets premium picks ala CMC as well. They will have to come down from that or keep a disgruntled player at a high cost.
  15. Ah, this is possible, though Beck Water earlier opined that the gnostic arithmetic was constructed upon a different base number. And there is yet the secret arcana of gematria to consider . . .
  16. The ways of the mystical number require hieratic powers beyond ordinary ken. I am confident you will get resolution on this, though perhaps less sure about 163.
  17. Of course, but the rumor is the new AZ GM has been overambitious in his ask and reworking the contract is not an easy obstacle in this case.
  18. I don't think that handicap fully explains it, but that and injuries played a role. Also, there's no doubt a learning curve. I hope there is still a day one or two pick used to address the oline. But first, lets go get DHop.
  19. Hopefully Damien Harris takes over for some of those RZ carries. Josh should save those kind of heroics for the playoffs as much as possible (but he probably won't).
  20. I would take Dalton Kincaid if he falls to 27. Ideally, you use a first round pick for a difference maker at one of the prime expensive pieces, QB, WR, DE, LT, but outside of that, go for a playmaker. I think Kincaid is that fella and the few WRs I like, Johnston and JSN, are not going to be there. If you don't trade back and there isn't a player to fit the preceding criteria, I am taking Darnell Wright over a LB despite the fact that folks will say that is a glaring hole in the D. This is a year to prioritize Josh Allen and the offense; protecting Josh Allen and adding weapons around him. Let McD coach up the side of the ball he is expert in. If they do go LB, trade back. Trade back or not, Trenton Simpson before Jack Campbell because scheme fit is a real consideration.
  21. No, that particular conversation was referring to Denver's putative asking price for Jeudy, though the most recent information posted in the thread dedicated to Jeudy makes it sound as if he is not actually on the trading block. The KC fan Zerovoltz showed up to opine Jeudy was a better target to help the Bills, that's how it came up here.
  22. Why do you insist on smuggling selfies into every thread?
