Cowboys take Mazi Smith. I think they wanted Kincaid. If TEs were interchangeable, they take Mayer. They're not.

I was pushing for this fella for weeks. My favorite player in the draft. It's a great pick. He's not a backup to Knox. He's a damn good weapon.

Probably none of you have heard of this fella, but if one is interested in experimental fiction with scifi elements, R. A. Lafferty is a favorite of mine. Neil Gaiman speaks well of him.

You could always try again. I've read some novels a half dozen times over the years. They change with you.

Trenton Simpson is a better choice, imo. His ceiling is higher and I think he's a closer replacement for Edmunds' role. Campbell is very easy to root for and I'll hope he is better than I suppose if selected, but just now I'm irritated by the large consensus in his favor. I'm not seeing the player many of you do and I suspect the intangibles are overriding what is actually on tape.

I'd love it, but I suspect he might go late first and somehow I doubt Beane takes TE over D if they make the trade.

And the rejoinder to this objection has also been talked about. He still has to agree to any restructure on the contract that might be necessary for teams to fit him under the cap. He does have some say in where he ends up.

I think you are discounting D too much, but I essentially agree with the main thrust of your argument. They better draft someone who can step in and play RT if the Brown experiment fails.

That's a good choice, too. I like him quite a bit, but you might get a pretty good DT at 59 and someone serviceable at 91.

There are a lot of good choices there. Bergeron is one of my favorites, but I think Avila contributes now and will be an above average starter. Trenton Simpson is tempting and he's a better choice than the popular Campbell. Campbell might be there at 59, Simpson won't. When the field is winnowed, I'll reconsider and look over everyone's thoughts. I'm giving an initial vote for Avila. I really like Josh Downs and he should be on the list. He's going to be a plus slot imo and would jump to the front of the line ahead of Shakir, imo.
