    It also heavily depends on how big players want their salaries to increase, as well as current built-in contract increases. The players don't live in a bubble, they know when the cap goes way up, and as a result their demands go way up.

    What was funny was that we had a big discussion on the validity of the statistics in the essay. He mentions that the birth rate decreased, but doesn't say how it decreased or what it decreased from. As it turns out, he was practicing HA's brand of statistics.

    Fox dropped it from 2000 theaters to 800 because they thought the movie wouldn't do well. Next week it opens at the originally intended 2000 theaters.

    Amazingly enough, in my history class today we were talking about an essay named "Battle of the Sexes", where one guy claimed that while working was a victory for women, it was decreasing the rate of birth for educated women, therefore causing harm to society. Of course, as soon as our TA talked about that, he mentioned how retarded and unsupported of an idea it was.

    Its just because of the way points are divided. The reason why it doesn't go into the loss column is because it gives you a point, therefore its not a loss, but an overtime loss.

Go learn about the media, story selection, profits, money, chain of command, etc Here's a hint - the media picked this story up because theres little to no investigative journalism required, meaning its cheap, and its a story that will sell. Why do you think Fox News picked it up, then?

    I don't know who does the majority of disruptive protests - I haven't seen anything on the topic except for anecdotal evidence. What I do know is that I have seen it happen on both sides of the political isle, whether or not you'd like to believe that.
