  1. Yup. I think this is the biggest factor.
  2. Is that because you are a thug yourself, Mister Mailbox Murderer?
  3. Excellent, I shall, erm, acquire it!
  4. I do see his point, "promoting the general welfare" could be talking about health in general, and thus disease research. I don't exactly agree with it, as I think its a different interpretation then what was intended (the protection of liberties and rights), but I do understand why he's saying it.
  5. ffs! wtf kind of thread is this
  6. Holy sh--, an episode I haven't seen! Do you know what season/ep it is by chance?
  7. Yeah, nothing like the only fantasy football site that has Colston still listed as a TE. www.rtsports.com www.easports.com
  8. Every 5 minutes too
  9. Not exactly. Some people believe so strongly in the parties views that voting for the other candidate is unthinkable. It all comes down to individual world views.
  10. Congress. Actually, Heath Schuler was a pretty good candidate. He ran as a conservative candidate.
  11. See why I was skeptical?
  12. A lot of it has to do with approval polling as well. Lots of people don't know a lot about Senators/Governors and when are forced to make a decision, tend to be agreeable, which inflates approval rating numbers.
  13. Just saw it on NBC. Russert seemed happy that a QB was elected
  14. Uh, its easy to call races with that small. It depends on exit polling data, which precincts are reporting, and a number of other things.
  15. I had to do a project this summer where I created a plan for Blago's campaign. The issue is that his opponent is such an idiot that he'll get reelected.
  16. How the hell is that not starting a war? If we invade a country because they are being brutal to their people, then we did start a war in response to his actions. Now you can argue whether it was justified or not, be we did indeed start a war. Wilson's foreign policy has also proved to be extremely unsuccessful and failed miserably.
  17. Most big name schools don't play a ton of other big named schools, unless its the SEC. Seriously though, I don't think the talent level is that much better compared to the jump in talent level with the NFL. (Rothelisberger, Gradkowski, etc)
  18. Its not too hard to find out how widespread it is. For example, for the phone messages, pull the phone records and check it, something I'm sure the FBI is doing. If there is a clear pattern in that case it wouldn't be hard to find out. Very true, but anecdotal doesn't mean its not factual, just that its not guaranteed evidence of a larger initiative.
  19. Did you vote for Tom Brady?
  20. This idea that somehow JP was so much "rawer" of a prospect then other quarterbacks is baloney in my opinion. Lets face it - college, while important, wasn't so much different between anywhere and Tulane that JP should not be expected to be very good.
  21. Not really. It depends on how widespread it is. From the article: Its important that it establishes a pattern, which shows that its widespread enough to not be an isolated incident.
  22. Impeachment would be death politically for 2008, I think even the Dems realize this.
  23. Because, after all, the whole reason why the team sucks is because the fans are ignorant about football. Thats one of the stupidest comments I've ever read here. And he also say to not get caught up on Manning when this original thread was about Manning.
  24. No, Diebold's not evil, just extremely incompetent.
