Intelligent Design is perfectly fine as long as you are willing to look at all theories.
I subscribe to this one personally.
lol, "intellectually dishonest". Actually, they prefer legislation that lets each person make up their minds individually on abortion. Therefore, its pro-choice. Thats not intellectually dishonest; you calling the people who are "pro-choice" as having "chose death" is dishonest. I don't know anyone who is pro-choice that is also pro-abortion.
The reason why is discrimination is because it has nothing to do with negative job performance. A homosexual will perform most jobs (except perhaps straight porn) just as well as a heterosexual. Therefore, discrimination based upon this is wrong.
If Masons are allowed to discriminate based upon the membership to the fraternity (I'm not familiar with those cases), my thinking would be because it is classified as a fraternity and not a religion. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 doesn't ban all discrimination.
Muslim sensitivity training is important because schools should be accepting of different religions and promote tolerance of all. I personally don't think that banning religion from school is the answer, but in no way do I think that promoting religion in school is the answer either (prayer, etc). It lies somewhere in between.
This has been brought to lawsuits before, but they've all been settled out of court and nothing has been brought to serious trial yet as far as I know.
The EEOC has also ran campaigns against Hooters' hiring practices.
