  1. John, I hope you read the following, even though you probably will not believe it. Still, I'll give it a shot: Let's put all men in your age group and above in a pie chart. I would do it here if I knew how but check it out....And anyone can feel free to discuss/adjust my estimates. Married - 50% Alcoholic - 10% (I am being kind here) Gay - 5% Drugs - 5% Criminals - 5% (going low once again) Still in love with ex - 5% Completely broke - 10% Pervert - 5% In addition to the above, many cannot perform and some fit into multiple (and other) categories. It is easier at your age to meet a woman than it was when you were in your twenties. My point: There is little competition. Look, I am not suggesting that you go after 25 year old models. Just women around your age. Having 3 daughters the situation doesn't thrill me but it is 100% true. If you are a nice guy, can hold a conversation, and are not hideous the ball is in your court.. You probably do not believe me but it's true. I wish someone else would weigh in on what I am saying.
  2. I cant top that but I was at the game that we lost 6-3. I think we were playing Cleveland. We had a major fumble as I recall.
  3. :) I don't know Badol.....I was at RWS for the game against NE when Van Pelt was the starter. That too was pretty freaking awful!
  4. Wow. Somehow my brain erased that game. It's amazing what we had had to endure as Bills Fans. Seriously.
  5. Fair question but I cannot picture an NFL team being desperate for Cardale Stewart. Then again I probably have a bit of PTSD from Whaley trading away our draft picks, so I am happy to stockpile even late rounders.
  6. He makes no sense but he is entertaining.
  7. That was pretty deep and will require a fair amount of contemplation to fully grasp. And thanks.
  8. I hear ya. Who wants yet another draft pick when you already have a Hall of Fame bound stud like Cardale Jones on your squad?
  9. Thanks for a great post and bringing back memories of hogboy!!! :)
  10. Absolutely. At one point he was the only good pass rusher on the team. Teams could double him up all day long and he still produced. Jauron used to send him in pass coverage as well. Schobel was a very good player but most people would compare him to Bruce. That sucked for him. Bravo! I hear ya Rico but Jauron had him lined up near the out of bounds line on some plays. Unbelievable. When Schobel got experienced he learned some good moves and didn't always go wide.
  11. Dareus needs discipline. He didn't play too many kids games with Coach Saban. Do you think he gave a flying f#@* what Rex had to say?
  12. Julio Jones and Amari Cooper suck too.
  13. I hear ya! Villarrial was actually good at RG but once he got hurt he was horrid. Flowers was painfully bad. I agree wrt Gandy. He was really a backup but Walker truly did suck. He couldn't move and by the time he got out of his stance defenders were by him. The Bills, especially under Levy and Jauron, paid little attention to the OL. These chronic losers cared about the secondary above all. If the Bills had a decent OL they would have made some playoff appearances. Even now I differ with those who think our OL is good. I think that Tyrod masks their weakness just like Flutie did. IMO they are poor on the right side and Wood is an average at best center. I hope the rookie can play. Jmo.
  14. Nice work Rico! It's great that you threw in Jerman. I must say that no list of awful Bills players would be complete without OG Marcus Spriggs. Marques Sullivan was depressingly awful as well.
  15. The above is true GB, but imo 17 years of losing DOES place the coach in a different position. Having to install a completely different, winning mentality to this team after Rex will probably be very taxing. Otoh if he can get the team even to a wildcard spot, he will be a star in the eyes of the owner, players and the fans. His value as a coach in terms of compensation would instantly skyrocket. Wrt the Bills, a wildcard spot equates to huge success (imo of course).
  16. Maybe, but I sort of like it. 17 years of losing is who we are. The coach must build on this and if he does, if he can even coach this football team to a wild card spot, this fan base will explode with glee. At this point, even some of our most rabid fans expect to lose.
  17. The 06 was just awful and destroyed the team for may, many years, just like I said it would at the time.
  18. Stephon Gilmore is on the bench by the end of the season.
  19. Marv Levy would have done that too unless he took a corner.
  20. Joe, I am an expert on this topic both personally and professionally. 1) Hating her will be harmful to you both physically and mentally. 2) She probably doesn't care at all whether or not you are sitting around angrily focusing on her. 3) It DOES get better. 4) Keep busy. Read, go to church, go for long walks. Good luck Bro and believe me, things will improve sooner than you think. Judges don't care at all who cheats, as long as you don't engage in sex in front of the kids. Besides, how many cases do you think are actually heard by a judge. Divorce is one of the worst things on earth. I liken it to the death of an immediate family member but as I told Joe above, it gets better.
  21. When linemen are held back from penetrating they are very often guarding for screens, in addition to playing the run. Remember Big Sam Adams? People looked at his size and thought of him as a nose. He was not. Dareus reminds me of Adams. When a strong, penetrating DT like Marcel is in coverage, or even standing around scrimmage jumping up and down, a very talented player is being wasted. I hope it doesn't take long to erase Rex from the memory of the players and the fans, including this one.
  22. I strongly disagree. Dareus stood there at times jumping around like a 350 pound ballerina. He was also used quite a bit in coverage. Just thinking about this is sickening.
  23. We have to hope that Sammy and Marcel care about the team and come to play. I don't have any idea what they are thinking. They both are extremely talented and we used a HUGE amount of resources on them. We need them to work hard and play well in order to compete. I think the OL is less talented than most think, but I also think that Tyrod is better than most think. I don't think that losing Gilmore will hurt us that much. If things go right we can compete for a wild card. That said, would 4 or 5 wins surprise me? No it would not. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
