  1. Only if he is willing to play center and doesn't insist on a skill position.
  2. I have to disagree with you that Turk needs to go. In this the third season of the Jauron era, we are seeing some recurring patterns: - Offense appears to take off and be creative but suddenly regresses. - Injuries happen often, to many personnel and are quite serious. - The QB appears to be developing nicely then starts a downward slide. - Changes are made to the OL and DL but they happen too late in the season to make a difference (isn't that what an off-season and pre-season games are for ?) We are re-gurgitating the same damn excuses from last year. 'Not enough talent', 'too many key injuries', 'QB is bad', 'OC is bad'. In the off-season, I had expressed skepticism that our O will be much better than last year. My doubts were from seeing that the only changes were one rookie wideout, a new OC and an off-season of maturity for Lynch & Edwards. The early games were surprisingly good and I thought I was pre-maturely pessimistic. But, alas, we seem to have regressed to the same point as last year. Something else is wrong and I can only point the finger at Jauron and our strength & conditioning coach.
  3. Funny (not in a 'ha ha' sort of way) that I was thinking the same way. Fairchild looked to be a good game planner in 2006 but went brain-dead last year. Why are we suffering through this deja vu ????
  4. Earlier this season, I had hopes that the Bills would play so much better than the Pats* that even ref issues would not keep us away from victories. However, given our injuries on D (again !) and the putrid O performance (again), I am afraid we will be left blaming the officiating.
  5. With our dearth of quality depth, we do not have the luxury to 'sit' anyone and certainly not Peters given your observations.
  6. As compared to the experiences of the last few years with dispersed/balanced power ?
  7. All along I was hoping each of those 36 cameras were fitted with x-ray vision lenses.
  8. yeah yeah. just like we never defend 3rd downs. They are always 2nd second downs.
  9. Umm. not sure if you meant this post as a joke. If you read what Jauron said, he means that he doesn't always know the NEXT team he is playing. He is concentrating on the team they are playing THIS week.
  10. That is a very obvious goal of any DC however we don't have the personnel to do it.
  11. Totally agree. Whoever is feeling better saying 'did anyone expect us to be 5-3 at this juncture' or 'we are still tied for first' etc. is just indulging in loser talk. Fact is we have sucked the last few weeks and yes I am including the SD game. We were a Kawika Mitchell interception away from losing that game also. I am frustrated because I see the same kind of posts, excuses and rationalization as we had in 2006 and 2007 (if not longer). Fact is we came out of the gates strong, showed character and a desire to win even if down by a lot of points. That grittiness evoked images of the dominant Bills teams of the past. Then came the Raiders game which we had a tough time winning and it all fell apart against the Cards. We then proceeded to lose to the friggin Dolphins and now to the Jets AT HOME !!! How can a fan really feel good by looking up and seeing 5-3 when just a few weeks back we were dreaming of 7-1 ? How can I see the pathetic run game, poor pass rush mediocre QB play and feel 'good' about our team ?
  12. Not true. Ball was underthrown and he had little chance to make the grab given the tight coverage. Cannot blame the receiver on this INT
  13. On that pick-6, he had little pressure. Not more than any QB can expect to see anyway. There is NO excuse for that play.
  14. Now that is one thing I can agree with.
  15. Yes we dont have a running game but we knew the Jets are good on run D. Should have planned around it. The pick-6 was all Trent. The fumble is now, what the third in 2 games by Trent ? How is it not on him ? How about the times he held on too long ? I see no reason to give Trent a pass for this game. He is sucking lately after teasing us in the first 5 games. There are other reasons we lost also, but this thread about Trent's performance and he is a BIG reason we lost.
  16. I am very much in favor of bringing him in for a medical e v a l and giving him a serious look-see. Even if he has just a couple of years left in his tank for situational pass rushing duties, we should snag him. Similar to the Jim Jeffcoat signing of the 90s.
  17. That he scores TDs from the RZ at a far higher rate than Jackson.
  18. Either that or you have to give him points for being seriously delusional or a total moron.
  19. Greedy ? Ofcourse not. I want the Bills to pound them every time we meet them this year. Twice for sure, hopefully in the playoffs too where we should run up the score to an obscene differential. But, unfortunately, Jauron is too classy for that. I, OTOH, am not when it comes to the Pats especially after last year (Wilfork cheap shot + running up the score).
  20. Likewise with SD. I think with every win, the reasons to explain away the Bills' success is fading. Beating the Rams and Raiders was no small feat considering the enthusiasm they played with against us. In the chat room, I started the top five reasons the Bills won and they are something like: (1) SD is a West coast team traveling to an East coast time zone (2) Chargers were without a Chambers (3) They were having a letdown after a big game last week/ looking forward to London/ ware in a trap game (4) Their defense is not at full strength without Merriman (5) The power outage in addition to the above four items played havoc with their play calling ability Any I missed ?
  21. You are so correct. The election night coverage resembles a finely produced reality TV event.
