  1. Yes the decision to put Fitz in was very interesting but I think quite pointless. At this time of the season, with the talent (and I use the word VERY loosely) we have on the coaching staff and on the OL, what can possibly brew ? The only thing we can do now is to use the remaining games to: - re-shuffle the OL: Levitre at LT, Wood at C and put the others wherever you want as they aren't doing a stellar job anyway. - bench TO and play Johnson. Is Hardy healthy yet ? I see he was out again this last Sunday - Continue to play Trent and complete the evaluation
  2. Happened to me too but I think it was during the Miami game. I just don't feel excited about a good drive or disappointed in a blown opportunity. I used to tell my ex-GFs that the day I stop feeling possessive about you is when you know I stopped loving you. Unfortunately for me, I am so attached to the Bills that I cannot dump them.
  3. Yes it could have - if the Bills had won.
  4. That reasoning does not work in this case. He is a great coach and has a good team. But that decision is stupid which is not to comment on any other aspect of his coaching or his team.
  5. BB is calling Simon as we speak
  6. Sure he did. But from their own 30 ? With no timeouts and with the lead ? Not sure if you are rationalizing that decision but I think it was wrong.
  7. Peyton is God
  8. Way to stick it to the hoodie freak
  9. I would call it borderline stupid. Pats* have the lead and can't trust their defense to stop the Colts after a punt ? If they were trailing, it would have been a good call
  10. Agreed. I also think TO has been a 'bust' for us.
  11. Only point I disagree with in your list. Yes there was way too much air but the ball was in TO's hands. An elite receiver is supposed to bail his QB out, especially TO who is supposed to be exceptionally strong. He should have fought for the ball.
  12. I voted zero because I think Schaub will be so worried about throwing towards Byrd that he will let our other DBs get the INTs. So total team INT prediction = 2, Byrd = 0
  13. Not really. Lack of sacks does not mean no pass rush. Lately, we have pressured opposing QBs into hurried throws quite a bit.
  14. Rush yards allowed/ game Bills = 172 Ravens = 91 Interceptions Bills = 13 (tied for league lead with Saints) Ravens = 7 Defense rankings (overall, rush, pass) Bills = 24, 32, 10 Ravens = 19, 7, 23 Glaring disparity in our pass versus rush defenses. If we had a couple of good LBs, we would be a playoff defense.
  15. I have surely seen him telegraph his plays
  16. From a sure-hands perspective, perhaps TO.
  17. If you don't look at him, you won't see him. Doesn't mean he has disappeared.
  18. That is what good receivers do. They put in the extra effort in making catches, in fighting and reaching for the ball - not an entirely unique or fresh concept. Not all completed passes are perfectly thrown, by ANY QB and there isn't always an opportunity for a receiver to be wide open. The skill is in the receiver adjusting to make a play. I am not saying Fitz had a stellar day, by any means. But knocking him for those completions is stupid. BTW, I counted two passes which TO made no effort to catch/hold on to.
  19. And in cold and windy conditions
  20. Trent started yesterday's game so I believe it goes in his 'W' column
  21. I am not as down as you are on the overall D. Yes we are dead last in rushing defense but are # 4 in passing D. Sure you can say that 'why should teams pass when they can run so well on us'. BUt I argue that we have not allowed the opposing passing game to be very good, especially these past two weeks. We are suffering because of terrible LB play and the the injury to Whitner. Again, I am not entirely sure the DE play is so bad as to risk giving too many snaps to a rookie.
  22. I think Kelsay's good play this year and pre-empted the need to play Maybin more. He is bring broken in gradually because the starters are playing adequately and we cannot afford rookie mistakes with our low scoring O not affording the D the luxury of experimentation.
  23. What mattered is he got both feet planted inbounds before he fell outside. And we are disputing the over-ruling and hence the officials' incompetence. Not debating if there is a conspiracy against the Bills.
