Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF
Fan in Chicago replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was the baat used on the Baastan accent ? -
Shavers had a very good game but I am not going to get super excited yet about his future with the team. Let him prove it consistently and then we can dance the jig. I am all for rooting for the underdog and we are due for a bit of good luck with our draft picks . But I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. If he ends up being mentioned in the same breath as Kyle Williams due to his career with the Bills , we would all be very happy

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
Fan in Chicago replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
His first few games of his rookie season have (and still do) give me hopes that he can overcome his supposed slowness through effort, practice and study. We have seen - good first few games - lack of production post-injury - him practicing hard in the off-season - good first game of this season - lack of effort, discipline resulting in poor performance This up and down behavior is something I cannot understand. Is it just immaturity ? If yes , I hope the bulb will go on and he will realize what he is at risk of throwing away - a unique opportunity (in the NFL) which once gone will cause him to look for alternate careers with decidedly less pay and fame. I would like the Bills to hold on to him and see what happens in the off-season. If he comes unfocused and disinterested for TC, then by all means get rid of him. -
MNF thread- Cowboys @ Raiders (no Bills stuff please)
Fan in Chicago replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Someone tell the Raiders it's okay to tackle. Boy this is boring to watch. The only thing keeping me watching is the occasional shots of Dallas' cheerleaders -

Consider that he came into the league in 2013, the other QB picked with him in the first round is long gone and forgotten. Geno made a good career for himself after the disastrous first few years. But yea, not sure why the Seahawks and Rauders thought he is starter material -
Welcome back. Where ya been?

Telegraph, telegram. You both are showing your age 🙂 I am glad Brady didn't get cute and out think himself. The Bucs secondary is weak and he called a bunch of passes deep and intermediate. None of the ball control, possession strategy which doesn't account for the opponent's weaknesses. We can be assured this is not the offense we will see in every game. It was heartening to see that when we needed to pass, we did so successfully.

Tyrell Shavers reminds me of John Stallworth....
Fan in Chicago replied to Kelly to Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall
The coaches must have seen something in Shavers over the past 2.5 years to hang on to him and then roster him this season. If he has worked hard to get to this point, major props to him. And he couldn't have timed his breakout game any better. We are desperate for WR help and if by effort or luck Shavers turns out to be a solid role player, I will feel much more positive about the playoffs. As for Gabe Davis, it looks like the coaches used him in a specific role and didn't ask him to be the deep threat. Which is perfect. The issues in the past stemmed from him being asked to run routes deep and be situationally aware, which imo he struggles to do. If he can be that guy who keeps getting us first downs in the short to intermediate zone, it will be a win for us. -
11/16/25 GAMEDAY Bills vs Buccaneers Post Game Thread

The coaches knew it too and couldn't stop the run today. Oliver and Shaq Thompson should help shore that up but outside contain is a problem too -
Me, for one. This iteration of their team doesn't look capable of running the table esp with the teams I mentioned above still on their schedule

Colts, Chargers and Broncos are games they can lose . With 9-8 and not having won the division, they will need a lot of help making the post season.

Hence the "hope" 🙂
