I want WR myself. Fill a huge need. I don’t expect DeJean to be available past 34. If we don’t take him, someone will trade up to 34 and grab him for sure.

Exactly. Either they really don’t care to take WR this early, or he believed the WR he covets would drop. Pick 33 should garner quite a bit of trade offers. Maybe Beane trades down again? If not, I believe he takes DeJean. BPA and fills a need.

Early run on QB’s. Late run on WR. Overall needs by teams. I see the Bills taking him and not a WR. Why else trade back and out of the first round with teams you believe are going to take a WR? Also, Beane keeps talking about the 3rd round. I feel he has a couple of guys targeted late 2nd and 3rd to get what we need.

Honestly, chiefs would still have been able to draft Worthy. Bills got what they could for a trade back. Bills still got their guy, i hope. I need to chill a bit.... 😁

NFLN. Can’t stand Greenberg for some reason. I do record ESPN to look back and see what they say about our picks.

Liked the press conference. Lindy definitely talks a good game about discipline, hard work and instilling a work ethic with the younger generation. He will have a more disciplined team that will win more games. Will he win us a cup? Need more pieces added to the team before that happens.

Do we know contract length? Fewer years tells me they are giving him the reigns, but could separate much easier. Long contract tells me they believe he is the long term answer. Love the guy, but 3 year contract tops. They have to have the mindset to move on as soon as they are not where they need to be. Can’t get into another Granato scenario. He is a much better coach than any we’ve had in some time. He will demand more from his players, and hopefully they but into him. 5 wins more this season and we’d have made the playoffs, Lindy should be able to get that out of this team. For me? I’ll be paying more attention to the team. Got some good players, but need to see grit all the time. Ruff will bring that.

Different schemes/systems fit different players for sure. Players around them. And of course, coaching staff.
