Chicago - Needs a team around Wilson to make this worth it. A team loaded for the next 3 years, or it doesn’t work. Blowing 3 first rounders is a tough swallow, at least one should pan out if they drafted them. Seattle - would need to be able to get a top QB this year. The picks in this package don’t really get you there. Can trade Russ straight up and get a few more picks and get the first or 2nd overall. Sounds like a lot. Not useful to Seattle unless they had a starting QB on the wings. Not many FA’s available other than Alex Smith?

Believe the return of a star helps the D. Allows the LB’s to focus on their jobs, instead of RB’s getting to the 2nd level. That being said, yes we need better edge rush. Just hope the Bills are not putting that on Epenesa. Need an established edge guy. With a better pass rush, takes pressure of the secondary, although we do need a starting CB opposite White and backup.

Team checked out long ago, had to happen. Yes, we need a known entity at coach. Someone who can coach not just on the ice, but off the ice. Someone who can instill a sense of team pride. Seen changes in head coach and quick turn around by that team. Hopefully we get a guy that can do this. Question is, who’s out there to fit the bill?

Yep, should be traded by the end of the day. Sounds as if there are a few teams open on him. Could be agent driven, who knows. Thing is, if you want him, get him. If it turns into a 3rd this year and a 5th next year, get him. Not saying that’s the deal that gets done, just if you want him then get him. I’d prefer at most a 4th and another lower pick next year. Just like the draft. If you like the player, draft him. If you feel he’s a diamond in the rough, then don’t wait.

Bills have to clear cap space before they can sign any their own FA’s or other teams. I’m sure something is going on in the background. Yeah Von may be a good player, but don’t think Beane will pay the $$$. Feel he is looking for those guys who are a step from being really good and are not overpriced. Who are they? I have no idea.

I find it interesting the number of of guys we are letting walk/test free agency. Wallace and Roberts were ones I’d like back. In a league that has taken the kick return out of the game, he certainly put it back in for us. Gonna miss him. Gonna need to spend the money one way or another to fill the roster.
