  1. Yep, definitely Hogboy!
  2. I remember that law passing as well. I'm no lawyer, but I think you can force them to allow you to do it. I have had Sunday Ticket every season since '96. Every season except one of those I was in my own home so I had no problem. The one season I was in an aprtment they said you cannot attach a dish to their building/property. I can't remember if that law had passed yet or not at that time. Rather than argue, I picked up a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot, a bag of Quickcrete and a length of PVC the diameter of the mounting pole and made my own setup on my patio. I had arrived here in Denver the night before the '99 season opener and literally had this set up and working a few minutes before kcickoff the next day.
  3. I remember you as one of the more classy and intelligent fans of our opposition. I'm glad to see your team has turned it around, as I've always thought Jeff Fischer is pretty cool. I can't say I can wish you luck this week, but I'll wish you guys lose to us without suffering any injuries.
  4. To further validate your post, look at the list of largest cities in the country and you will see San Antonio listed as the 8th largest. However, I lived there from '86-'99 and know that the reason they are that "large" is SA continually annexes the growing suburbs. So practically the entire MSA there is within city limits and it makes the city rank larger than it really is, whereas in most major cities the population is based on city limits, which generally are not all that far in any direction from downtown.
  5. I hate it too. Then again, I live in metro Denver so I'm hosed either way.
  6. I truthfully work with a dude named Dick Smallwood. One would think he would at least go by Richard, but no....
  7. Bills 16 Bears 13
  8. I'm in the camp with you two. Unfortunately our Bills never seem to be in the group that the NFL wants to come out ahead, so although the ultimate prize is not out of the question I feel we have to overcome more adversity than a number of other teams.
  9. Exactly correct. Especially the non-calls, as most fans focus on the bad calls, not the bad non-calls.
  10. Those have been my thoughts exactly this these lsat few days.
  11. I don't think he's quite that bad, but I agree with you on "Justin Geisinger on the blitz". I was like WTF?
  12. I'm in Denver, and it was scheduled to be on the NFL Network (DirecTV channel 212) this morning. It has been on my record "To Do List" for days. When I got up this morning I went to triple check it was still there and it wasn't. I checked the schedule and it was no longer listed. So, it definitely was not just a local market thing. Probably it is simply bad luck with the local channel rebroadcast precedence thing, but, it seems like that would happen in other markets to other teams as well. Maybe it has somewhere, but I have not heard of it. In any event, I don't get how some local channel rebroadcast preference should have any bearing on me not being able to watch it in Denver!
  13. Sounds like we work for the same company.
  14. You think the #22 pick is going to have a contract that would give us a cap hit anywhere close to Nate's 7.22 million?
  15. I completely agree. Plus, I'd have little trouble calling them WNY Bills or just NY Bills for that matter. Not ideal, but it beats the hell out of having them move far away.
  16. Maybe SF needed the 22nd pick so they could trade it to us for Clements. I don't really believe that, but one can wish.
  17. I thought Jerman was arguably the weakest member of the OL last year.
  18. Not only does that put a smile on my face for what it does to Snyder's team, but one would think their situation just might push him to break ranks of the nine owners refusing to share more of the presently non-shared revenue and get that vote passed!
  19. I have a friend out here who is a knowlegeable Rams fan, and he told me recently retaining him should be their top offeason priority.
  20. Plus, Cleveland spent a #1 on center Jeff Faine just a few years ago. I think he has done o.k. at least, so Cleveland may not even be interested.
  21. Chuck Lester = Ned Flanders
  22. I'd bring him back in an instant (and Rusty Jones too).
  23. still play in an indoor soccer league.
  24. I Tivo'd it as well and played it back a few times since it seemed amusing to me at the time. I am pretty sure that it was Teague who was hit by Ellis but that it was actually Bennie Anderson who sent Ellis flying in retaliation for what he did to Teague.
  25. That's exactly what I thought at the time. There was no juggling, ball touching the ground, etc. I have no clue what that jackass was talking about.
