Good post. Don't know how good Fitzpatrick is, but the offense looked better with him in there. Fitzpatrick, if nothing else, looked fearless in the pocket, whereas Edwards has the Bledsoe-waiting-to-get-hit look in his eye.

I don't know if the coaches tell the OLB's not to attack the line of scrimmage or they are just bad, but it really looks like we are playing with 4 DL and 1 LB on running plays. The OLB's stand 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and sit back waiting to get pancaked by OL or FB's or miss the tackle because the RB is already at full speed and they are standing still.

He still gets his $3m this year no matter what he does. He thinks he should be a WR. Parrish doesn't seem like the sharpest knife and it would not surprise me one bit if he is tanking it to get a ticket out of town.

Every situation is different. Bradford doesn't play in a pro-style offense and lost a fair amount of his O-Line and WR's. Staying another year wasn't really preparing him better for the NFL. Claussen on the other hand plays in a pro-style offense for a former NFL offensive coordinator and will get better staying another year.

I was impressed with Claussen. Good arm, smart, good mobility, good competitor, and plays in a pro-style offense. And he played pretty well against a defense with better athletes than his offense. Would like to see him stay for his senior year though. Another year under Weiss and Claussen could be the best QB prospect since Carson Palmer.

What's a lot to you? $300-400m probably not. $100-200m definitely. Ralph has enough money to donate millions to charities and causes like the one in South Florida credited to helping Kevin Everett.

Toronto is the only viable option I see for a Bills relocation. But there are obstacles like the political ramifications of killing the CFL, the deceased Rogers had the financial wherewithal to put together a bid, but do his heirs? (NFL does not allow corporate ownership and the majority owner I believe must own more than 50%).

The NFL does not let owners finance that much ($150m?) of the purchase price. The most a new owner of the Bills will have in debt service costs is $10-15m per year. Doubt it is the same for stadiums.

There is also the economic cost of buying a team for close to $1b, building a stadium for close to $1b, and paying a relocation fee on top of that. There's not many people who have that kind of money. Is there really a market out there that will re-coup the $1b+ over just keeping the Bills in Buffalo?

I can also guarantee you that any black player who had a similar offer from another team would not play for Limbaugh. Limbaugh makes his money being a divisive a-hole, but it's a free country and that's his right. Just like black players have a right not to play for his team.

The difference is now the Bills will be a laughing-stock simply because they stink, instead of stinking and trying to run a gimmick offense.

It almost looks like Losman has to cup the ball instead of being able to grip it to throw. Seattle had a QB in the late 80's who always led the League in fumbles because he had little hands. Losman uses his left hand to keep the ball in his right hand. Makes it very easy for defenders to knock the ball free, and makes it very hard for Losman to throw on the run.

Too much money involved now and too corporate. Need more Rex Ryan personalities. The League takes itself too serious. I do love the Wildcat though.

Schottenheimer and his son are the only 'name' people I could realistically see in Buffalo as long as Ralph is owner.

The Bills clearly have to take a QB high next year. There will be a new Coach and hopefully a new GM. Why let the current inept brain trust trade draft picks for a Joey Harrington clone?

Arm-strength, accuracy, and football instincts are pre-requisites. To me, the most important trait in a QB is being the alpha-male leader. The closest thing we've come to that is Bledsoe in the last 10 years. Too bad he didn't have the accuracy part and had been hit too many times. No more nice-guy, pretty boys. Haven't seen that much from Clausen, but the fact that he picked Notre Dame scares me. Seems like Stoops tells Bradford when to sneeze. Would like to see more of Locker.

The amount of money these guys get now has changed everything. They'll cash their paychecks and keep their mouths shut.

Why would Holmgren or any of the top guys like Shanahan, Cowher, Dungy, or even Gruden consider the Bills? There will be better jobs available to these guys. The only realistic scenario is Schottenheimer at this point. If nothing else, the team wouldn't be a bunch of pu$$ies anymore.

So leave a truly incompetent person as Head Coach? If Ralph cared one iota about the fans, he would fire Jauron. It doesn't matter who replaces him. The season is lost. This is either Ralph not wanting to pay someone else a head coaching salary or publicly humiliating Jauron for the rest of the season because Ralph was dumb enough to give him a $9m extension after a fluke 5-1 start.

This is also a way for Ralph to humiliate Jauron. Ralph knows he can't pull the old fire the coordinator routine and recoup any of Jauron's money. So the only thing left to do is keep Jauron and have the fans boo him during the remaining 4 home games. Meanwhile, Ralph the weasel is afraid to show his face on the field and take any responsibility for this mess.

The only interest I have in the rest of the football season is when/if Bills get a new GM, and if Clausen, Bradford, or Locker become deserving of a top 3 pick. At this point, I don't care if Jauron stays this season as it will ensure a poor record and a chance at a franchise QB. But if a new GM isn't hired, it really doesn't matter as the Brandon/Modrak/Guy triumvarate will surely screw up the pick.

The only question that remains is how will Ralph force Jauron to quit so he doesn't have to pay him $8m? I don't really see how he can tell him to fire Van Pelt or April, whose units have been putrid. Fewell's probably safe. Maybe Ralph can claim he wasn't of sound mind and senile when he gave Jauron his contract. Can't think of anything else, but there's no way Ralph eats Jauron's money.

I don't know if he'd net a 1st rounder, but a team like Indy might give up a 2nd rounder. But do we really want Brandon/Jauron making these decisions? That's why Jauron needs to be gone yesterday. This year is written off especially with Jauron here and the fact that we can't beat anyone in our division. Start the rebuilding now, and at least get something out of the rest of the season.

If all Ralph cares about is pocketing $30m+ per year in addition to the $700m+ in appreciation on is $25k investment, lower the $123m per year on players to $115m per year and go hire a real Coach and real GM.

They are both short-arming pu$$ies, so it doesn't really matter which one is better.
