  1. This was the reverse jinx. Guy looks like Brady now.
  2. Rosen looks like he's got the physical tools of a top pick. We'll certainly find out a lot about his mental makeup playing with a team this bad. Don't need to be a college superstar and lead your team to national titles to get picked high. See Trubisky and Goff. Wentz basically played one year at the FCS level.
  3. Just my opinion, but I think Reilly needs to put on 10-15 pounds of muscle before he can last more than a couple weeks on an NFL field. Guys like Edelman and Hogan look a lot stronger to the naked eye. Reilly didn't seem to absorb contact well. Perfect practice squad player. Live in the weight room, put in the work, and make team next year.
  4. If it's McCown vs Peterman, Bills will be underdogs. If I'm a Jets fan, I'm totally pissed that McCown is starter.
  5. Why would a new coach keep together a defense that was terrible? Every team in NFL without a QB goes through what the Bills are going through. Just sucks that we haven't had a QB to build around in 20 years and go through this every 3 years.
  6. Tyrod would actually be a good fit for Marrone. Doesn't turn it over and improves the run game. Haven't seen him play this pre-season, but Bortles had a case of some serious arm atrophy last year. He had no zip on the ball and had major mechanical issues with his throwing motion.
  7. I see EJ Manuel as well but with more arm strength. Don't see the ability to process info quickly and make good decisions with the ball. Beating out Osweiler is a very low bar.
  8. Have no idea if Peterman is gonna be good, but I saw throws from him that Taylor can't or won't make. Pleasantly surprised by Peterman's arm strength. If you told me Peterman was a 2nd round pick instead of a 5th rounder I wouldn't question it after watching game last night.
  9. Julio Jones is a physical beast and can still dominate when he's not 100%. I suspect Sammy will have a great year if he's healthy, but his game is totally built on speed and quickness. Much more dependent on physically being 100% which he rarely was.
  10. Too much money being made for NFL to go away. They'll figure something out whether it be better equipment or changing some rules. Everything is one-sided against football right now. I'm sure a test will be developed in near future for CTE in live patients and the actual cause of CTE will be honed in on. NFL has almost unlimited money to solve a problem that threatens its survival. Probably at a low point right now, but I'll bet on NFL figuring it out.
  11. If nothing else, bringing in Boldin is a couple million dollar investment into Sammy. Seems like he's in desperate need of a veteran presence like Boldin.
  12. I disagree. I think he'll easily be worth $33m+ in the next couple years if he plays his cards right. Not sure there's more than a handful of people in the world who can generate the clicks and eyeballs that OJ can.
  13. Someway, somehow... OJ, Trump, and the Kardashians need to get together.
  14. How did the Thursday night week 2 game against the Jets not make his lowlights film? One of the worst CB performances I've ever witnessed.
  15. $100m appreciation in 2 years plus probably another $50m per year in profit. Another $50m plus in relocation fees. Looks like a pretty nice place to park $1.4b. Plus a sizable amount of that $1.4b paid to Wilson estate is supposed to be re-invested in WNY.
  16. I give credit for Brandon keeping seats filled, which made it harder for Ralph to re-locate franchise. But his usefulness is now over.
  17. This is pretty stupid. Unless Sammy posted bail with a duffel bag of cash or money from a Russian bank account, pretty easy to prove the money wasn't tainted.
  18. I could be wrong, but this just means he counts towards compensatory pick formula. Might scare off some teams who are in line to receive compensatory picks, but Bills are not one of those.
  19. If Blount isn't happy about this maneuver and not sure why he would be, maybe this puts Bills in play for his services to stick it to Pats twice a year. He'd be a nice complement to McCoy.
  20. He's made close to $40m over his career. Can't really blame him if he doesn't want to play for $600k. Smart move is probably to walk away while he still can.
  21. Will be interesting if Peterman plays well in training camp and preseason games, and a win-now team has their starting QB go down. Would Bills deal Taylor for draft picks and go all-in on a 2018 QB?
