  1. This is becoming bizarre. Like giving a credit card to a person with 3 months to live.
  2. I’d say 95% was watching Brady and Gronk hoisting another Lombardy. Maybe 5% was the Bills. But I’m lovin it regardless of what led to it.
  3. People need to chill. Once we re-signed Milano, Williams, and Feliciano we weren’t gonna players for Day 1 Free Agency guys who go at the top of the market. I think Beane will be active in the 2nd wave for CB2, pass rusher, Tight End, and maybe WR
  4. Good for him. He deserves it. And deserves a chance to start.
  5. It’s really not. There’s zero reason White, Dawkins or Diggs wouldn’t take their salary this year as a signing bonus. But there’s no reason for the Bills to do it until they need the cap space to sign someone.
  6. Yes. We probably have as much as $25m if we want to use it.
  7. I don’t think we’re gonna. The big buck multi year contracts went to signing our own. Now we need the finishing piece veteran ring chasers. Dunlap, Rhodes, Rudolph, Sanders.
  8. Titans would seem to be moving on from Clowney
  9. This probably pays for a punter.
  10. Geez. These rumors get dumber everyday.
  11. This signals he was in demand. $10m is a lot and TB still has Suh and a RB to take care of. Would love to know if Bills offered him a contract.
  12. No discount there. On to Brate or Howard. They have $22m in Tight Ends.
  13. This probably means they are gonna trading up in the draft for a QB.
  14. I think Brady winning a super bowl with Bucs really messed with their psyche.
  15. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/03/15/rob-gronkowski-i-want-to-dip-my-toes-into-free-agency-to-see-whats-out-there/ never say never
  16. I guess the Colts playoff game wasn’t a game you re-watched. He was a good returner though, but his best days probably behind him. Good for him he’s getting one more payday.
  17. Love seeing the Pats having to over-pay for good not elite talent.
  18. Free agency is 4 minutes old.
  19. Dude had a major heart issue unearthed at combine. That’s why he fell to mid first round. Id imagine Covid made him re-assess the risk of playing. I’d take it easy on him if he decides to retire.
  20. Probably, but you never know. And if Bills drive up his price, they’re gonna have to cut Brate or Howard and I’d happily sign either of them too.
  21. A cut doesn’t save any money. It actually makes things worse because they’re on the hook for $5m in salary guarantees this year and $2m next year plus $7.8m in bonus amortization. A post June 1 retirement looks like best cap scenario because it both eliminates $7m in guaranteed salary and spreads the dead cap bonus amortization over 2 years. Best case might actually be another opt out and then a post June 1 retirement in 2022.
